Описание

Большая Покровская — парадная улица города. По ней въезжали в Нижний, здесь стояли дома влиятельных семей, а позже вырос монументальный замок Госбанка, где хранилась треть золота империи. Мы распутаем историю города, которая переплелась с историей страны, и рассмотрим душу волжской столицы в её людях — их страстях и делах.

Что вас ожидает

  • Вы узнаете историю редакции самой массовой газеты дореволюционного Нижнего — места, где пересекались известные писатели и обсуждали свои фельетоны
  • Я покажу окна дома, где Пушкин едва не стал Хлестаковым и где родилась идея «Ревизора», которую он предложил Гоголю
  • Мы подойдём к дому начальника Ленина и поговорим о человеке, который стал прототипом Джеймса Бонда. Вы увидите его фотографию рядом с Максимом Горьким
  • Обсудим фантастический маршрут нижегородского купца, за семь лет объехавшего весь мир: солдат датский, раб на Карибах, янычар в Турции — и автор первого русского авантюрного романа
  • Пройдём по кремлю. Расскажу, как крепость закрывала путь в русские земли, чем защищалась и почему сохранилась в таком виде. Покажу Ярмарку — торжище России и всей Евразии
  • Затронем Нижний современный: заводы, самолёты, подводные лодки, экранопланы и людей, которые определяют жизнь города сегодня
  • Завершим прогулку у церкви, которая связана с историей рождения Ивана Грозного

Илья прекрасный гид - настоящий профессионал с академическим историческим образованием, энциклопедическими знаниями и искренней любовью к родному городу. И при этом он живой рассказчик, легко увлекающий слушателя в мир истории и культуры, городских былин и легенд, да, и просто, невероятно располагающий к себе человек. Двухчасовая экскурсия по расцвеченной праздничной вечерней иллюминацией Б.Покровской улице прошла на одном дыхании, оставив нам лишь самые приятные впечатления, интересные знания и позитивное настроение.
