Описание
Совместим прогулку по центру города и разговор о петербургской кухне — законодательнице общепита царской России и зарубежья того времени. Многие блюда и напитки той поры сегодня нигде нельзя попробовать. Но можно побродить по историческим местам, где вершились настоящие кулинарные события, узнать несколько легендарных рецептов и имена тех, кто пару столетий назад прослыл истинным гурманом и новатором. Познакомившись ближе с петербургскими гастрономическими традициями, вы поймёте, какие из них остались в прошлом, а какие шагнули в современную жизнь и, возможно, соблюдаются лично вами.

По местам гастрономической славы
Петербургская кухня сформировалась не на пустом месте. Ей предшествовала кухня племён Ингерманландии и пришлых новгородцев, свой вклад в неё внесли знаменитые французские повара и прочие иностранцы, знатные чиновники, члены царской семьи и литераторы. Наш маршрут пройдёт по местам, где когда-то располагались самые известные общепитовские учреждения имперского Петербурга, неоднократно воспетые в стихах и прозе. Вы узнаете, где впервые в Российской империи был сделан коктейль, где — задействована мигающая светореклама и как первое в России заседание футбольного клуба связано с кулинарией.

Я расскажу о гастрономических пристрастиях баснописца Крылова и писателя Дюма-отца, князя Потёмкина, графа Орлова и других приближённых ко двору вельмож. Вы поймёте, почему названия некоторых блюд часто сопровождают приписками вроде “по-александровски” или “а-ля Демидов”. И когда в следующий раз обратитесь к рецепту толчёного картофеля, запечённого в сливках, будете знать, кто придумал это блюдо.

С Александром мы уже знакомы давно. Пошли к нему на экскурсию в четвёртый раз. И не пожалели. Александр прекрасный рассказчик, знает много исторических фактов. Мало того он увлекается кулинарией и восстанавливает приготовление блюд по старым рецептам. На экскурсиях мы дегустируем его изыски. Моей дочери экскурсия очень понравилась. Хотя экскурсия длилась около шести часов мы ее прошли на одном дыхании и даже не заметили, как пролетело время. Спасибо за экскурсию. Ждём новых маршрутов. Ольга, Татьяна, Раймис, Арина.

Замечательная, познавательная экскурсия! Даёт возможность посмотреть на историю Санкт-Петербурга под иным углом зрения! 4 часа прошли незаметно. Рекомендую.
