Прогулка по старинным пабам Лондона
Мы посетим несколько лондонских пабов, каждый из которых имеет свою историю, традиции и фирменные сорта пива. Заглянем в пабы, где сидели Чарльз Диккенс, Бернард Шоу и другие культовые личности, включая даже Джека Потрошителя! Вы узнаете, почему в 14 веке все английские пабы обзавелись яркими вывесками и эмблемами, откроете для себя самые интересные и старинные заведения британской столицы, рассмотрите уютные интерьеры с мощной деревянной мебелью. А в оформлении паба часто можно увидеть отсылки к истории заведения или его необычным посетителям, которыми гордятся владельцы.
Традиционные сорта английского пива
Почти в каждом аутентичном лондонском пабе можно отведать черное (stout), темное (bitter), светлое (lager) и темное сладкое (ale) пиво, а некоторые пабы и вовсе могут похвастаться десятками пивных сортов, некоторые из которых вы при желании продегустируете на экскурсии. Кроме того, вы узнаете о традиционном этикете, царящем в любом английском пабе, ведь паб — это также единственное место в Англии, где можно завязать диалог с незнакомцем, чем мы постараемся воспользоваться, чтобы поболтать с рядовыми англичанами.

Отличный тур, мы прошлись по пабам, попробовали разные сорта эля, послушали истории про места и Лондон. Узнали, где самый старинный паб, где отдыхают лорды парламента, где бывал Артур Конан Дойл. Денис отличный рассказчик, живет в Лондоне и знает много всего, что не относится к пабам :-)

Интересная экскурсия. Рекомендуем обязательно пробовать напитки. Пройдёт веселее и познавательнее.

Поразительно насколько некомпетентного гида нам подобрали. Ни исторических знаний, ни знаний о традициях варки и потребления эля. Очень рассчитывали узнать что нибудь новое о традиционных исторических пабах Лондона. Потерянное время и деньги. Особенно поразило обращение гида после «экскурсии» о том, что мы не доплатили 50 фунтов, хотя вся сумма была выплачена в самом начале «экскурсии». Крайне разочарованы.
