- усадьба архитектора Лемке — настоящий культурный ковчег, где в разное время жили писатели Владимир Короленко и Максим Горький, а также Святослав Агафонов, человек, спасший Нижегородский кремль;
- дом аптекаря, ставший важным культурным центром квартала;
- балкон, с которого Фёдор Шаляпин однажды дал импровизированный концерт для соседей;
- детали городской повседневности XIX века: старинная водоразборная колонка, геодезический знак, мощная брандмауэрная стена и стеклянные кирпичи Фальконье в старинном окне;
