Описание

Дюма-сын, Далида, Оффенбах, Дега, Стендаль — неполный список обитателей «города мёртвых» у подножия холма Монмартр. Я покажу вам неприметные могилы, роскошные мавзолеи и необычные статуи — копии работ Микеланджело и Родена. Вы услышите рассказ о судьбах более 20 художников, писателей, музыкантов, учёных. И поймёте, почему это кладбище называют музеем под открытым небом.

Жизнь замечательных людей
Имена многих обитателей некрополя будут вам знакомы, но вас очень удивят малоизвестные факты из их биографий. Я объясню, почему физика Ампера хотели исключить из Академии наук, а именем писателя Стендаля назвали психическое расстройство. Вы узнаете, под чью музыку пляшут канкан, почему французы вспоминают Эмиля Золя, прочищая каминные трубы, и отчего певица Далида свела счёты с жизнью.

«Русский след» на Монмартре
Мы поговорим о русских возлюбленных Дюма-сына. Вспомним певицу Полину Виардо, ради которой Тургенев покинул Россию, и поблагодарим зодчего Монферрана за Исаакиевский собор в Петербурге. Я расскажу о трагедии звезды «Русских сезонов» Вацлава Нижинского, покажу статую-символ Евросоюза на могиле балерины Людмилы Чериной и усыпальницу светской дамы Марии Потоцкой.

Необычные профессии и достижения
Куртизанка, чью жизнь Дюма-сын описал в «Даме с камелиями», и палач, казнивший короля, знаменитая исполнительница канкана и изобретатель саксофона — вы услышите об особенностях ремёсел и превратностях судеб этих людей. Также мы посетим могилы врача, сделавшего первую прививку от бешенства, и депутата, который «умер за 25 франков».

Рассказ о кладбище Монмартр я сопровождаю иллюстрациями, чтобы вы могли лучше представить тех, кто нашёл здесь своё последнее пристанище.

Кому подойдёт

Программа рассчитана только на взрослых путешественников и не подойдет детям младше 12 лет. Также экскурсия не рекомендуется путешественникам с ограниченными возможностями передвижения и с травмами, затрудняющими прогулку. Пожалуйста, объективно оценивайте ваши силы.

  • В плохую погоду (проливной дождь, сильный ветер) кладбище может быть закрыто из соображений безопасности, поэтому прогулку придётся перенести
