Описание
Маре — одно из немногих мест в Париже, не тронутых временем. Облик этого квартала совершенно не изменился за столетия, и атмосфера здесь по-прежнему особенная. Заглянув в Маре, вы поймёте, что такое настоящий Париж, горячо любимый теми, кто возвращается сюда снова и снова; побродите по узким улочкам и внутренним дворикам, рассмотрите особняки, дома еврейского квартала, лавочки и забудете, в какой эпохе находитесь.

Его великолепие, изысканное «болото»
Название квартала произошло от французского слова «болото» — вы узнаете, как преобразилась и эволюционировала местность Маре благодаря тамплиерам. Пройдёте мимо монастырей и загородных домов, которые стоят на правом берегу Сены с давних времён, и узнаете секреты знаменитого квартала.
- На идеально квадратной площади Вогезов услышите рассказ о королевской фамилии и 36 домах, во многих из которых жили известные люди: например, Виктор Гюго! Ансамбль площади считается одним из самых красивых в Париже.
- На базарной Сен-Поль поговорим о столичных блошиных рынках и торговле антиквариатом.
- Зайдя в еврейский квартал, вы узнаете о роли иудеев в развитии города и о том, как исторические события сказывались на судьбе парижских евреев. В квартале Маре за века сформировался центр еврейской культуры: здесь находится самая большая синагога в Париже и множество кошерных магазинов и кафе.
- Возле особняка Сале вспомните о Пабло Пикассо — с 1985 года в этом здании располагается музей творца.
- А взглянув на особняк Карнавале и Ле-Пелетье-де-Сен-Фаржо, рассмотрите «самый парижский музей» — 140 его залов посвящены истории города и страны, Великой французской революции и всему, чем когда-то был знаменит Париж.
