Описание

Один из самых живописных видов на Тирренское море открывается с Чефалу — сицилийского городка с историей, уходящей в 6 век до н.э. На острове в разное время правили самые разные народы. Однако на экскурсии мы не будем излишне углубляться в события прошлого. Моя задача — показать вам наряду с главными достопримечательностями потайные улочки и дворики, где вы понаблюдаете за размеренной жизнью чефалутян и услышите местные легенды.

История и легенды Чефалу
Эта земля помнит времена поклонения богине Диане, правления римлян, власти христианской Византии, арабского владычества. Только представьте, сколько разных народов и цивилизаций оставило след в жизни острова! На прогулке я буду обращать ваше внимание на объекты, сохранившие отголоски прежних эпох. А немного свернув с проторенных дорог, вы окажетесь во дворах (со своими легендами и историями), где перед вами предстанет быт местных жителей.

Must-see места
Вы осмотрите величественный кафедральный собор — превосходный образец сицилийского зодчества в арабо-норманнском стиле с красивыми фасадами и мозаикой, выполненной мастерами из Константинополя. Встретите источник воды, которую называют самым чистым и холодным на Сицилии, и услышите романическую легенду о ручье. Прогуляетесь вдоль оборонительной стены, подниметесь на бастионы, а также увидите исторический дворец, где часто останавливался король Сицилии, жили знатные семьи и даже монахи доминиканцы.

Подъем на гору La Rocca (дополнительная опция)
На вершине горы находятся руины храма Дианы — древнейшее свидетельство первой цивилизации на острове — и средневековый замок. Подняться сюда обязательно стоит и ради фантастических видов — с площадки открывается панорама побережья Сицилии и исторического центра Чефалу, а в ясную погоду можно разглядеть Липарские острова! Согласовав заранее, мы сможем подняться на гору пешком, дорога занимает 20-30 минут до первой смотровой площадки, до замка — 40 минут.

Организационные детали

  • Экскурсия начинается из Палермо (трансфер включён в стоимость). Если вы находитесь в Чефалу, стоимость экскурсии не меняется.
  • Подъем на гору возможен по договорённости, стоимость дополнительного часа экскурсии — 50 евро.
  • На гору ведут ступени, необходимо обязательно иметь удобную нескользящую обувь и головные уборы. Время работы: с ноября по март с 9 до 16 часов, с апреля по октябрь с 9 до 19 часов. В дождь или ветреную погоду подъем закрыт.
  • В некоторые дни экскурсию можно начать после 15:00, возможность уточняйте у гида
  • Экскурсия не предназначена для людей с ограниченными возможностями и для маленьких детей в колясках. Во время прогулки будут спуски и подъемы в виде ступенек.

Огромная благодарность Катерина за чудесную прогулку, где мы были окружены заботой и вниманием. Экскурсия проходила в комфортном темпе и была насыщена множеством интересных исторических и культурных фактов. Катерина профессиональный гид и могла уверенно ответить на любой наш вопрос, причем рассказала нам не только о городе, в котором мы были, но и обо всей Сицилии. Так же Катерина ответила на наши "бытовые" вопросы и подсказала нужные нам локации в Палермо. Мы так не хотели расставаться с Катериной, что съездили с ней еще и в пугающую катакомбу капуцинов - в её компании прогулка была совсем не страшной, но страшно интересной и познавательной :)
