Вы погрузитесь в веселую барочную сказку Старого города, исследуете собор святого Иакова, отведаете галисийские деликатесы на центральном рынке и поймете, что влечет в этот город более трехсот тысяч паломников ежегодно.

Что вас ожидает

Исторические курьезы и перипетии
Вы узнаете, как возник культ мощей св. Иакова и почему в растущий вокруг собора город устремились переселенцы со всей Европы. А также: как вымышленная битва с маврами обеспечила Сантьяго самую стабильную и богатую казну среди всех городов Испании, как в XV столетии были изобретены «чартерные» рейсы для паломников и почему бесценный рукописный «путеводитель» XII века в наше время оказался на чердаке у электромонтера.

Погружение в недры Старого города
Запутанная система улочек и секретных переходов увлечет нас на добрые два часа. За это время вы увидите состоящий всего из одной стены «фальшивый» дом и действующий монастырь, в котором живут и трудятся 40 бенедиктинок-затворниц. А еще: столетние таверны, овощные грядки в центре города, ректорат университета и площадь, некогда служившую кладбищем, а ныне — площадкой для музыкальных фестивалей.

Сантьяго изнутри
Я поделюсь с вами, как подняться на крышу собора, где попробовать традиционные блюда, как побывать в отеле католических королей и даже остановиться бесплатно в одном из его номеров. Кроме того, вы узнаете, куда можно съездить из Сантьяго и какие музеи стоит посетить.

Организационные детали

Обратите внимание: посещение собора в программу не входит, экскурсию внутри имеют право проводить только музейные гиды. Но я с радостью подарю вам подготовленную мной брошюру, которая сориентирует вас во время самостоятельного осмотра и останется на память в качестве сувенира.

  • Я встречу вас у гостиницы или съемной квартиры, а после экскурсии, при желании, провожу в понравившееся вам место или обратно домой.
  • Отправляться на экскурсию лучше в удобной обуви, одевшись по погоде и вооружившись фотоаппаратом и маленькой бутылкой воды.
  • Дополнительные расходы могут ждать вас только на рынке Абастос, если вы захотите отведать свежих устриц или продегустировать галисийские вино и вермут.
