Описание
Главная историческая часть Таллина сосредоточена в Старом городе и это безусловный центр туристического притяжения. Но, на мой взгляд, гораздо интереснее посмотреть на столицу в более объемном хронологическом измерении. Для этого недостаточно увидеть средневековые кварталы, где сегодня соблюдают правила застройки. Нужно прогуляться и по новым районам, где современным архитекторам дышится свободнее. Я расскажу, как развивался город за пределами крепостных стен, чем были заняты местные жители и открою креативные места, где старинная архитектура гармонично сосуществует с современными стилями!
Что вас ожидает
От сердца Старого города к сердцу современного Таллина
Мы начнем прогулку с главной площади, Ратушной, и отправимся через Латинский квартал и городскую стену к площади Виру и современному району Ротерманна. Пересекая крепостную границу, я помогу вам представить, какие виды отсюда открывались людям в средневековые времена, расскажу, кем они были, чем занимались на протяжении веков и как менялся их быт. Вы узнаете, когда стало очевидным, что городу тесно и пора выбираться за пределы старых укреплений; как шло градостроительство на первых этапах выхода из кольца крепостных стен, кто победил в давнем соперничестве Нижнего города и Вышгорода, как Таллин пришел к нынешним размерам и чем живет сегодня.

Оставив за плечами ветхие события Старого города и неприкосновенность его облика, вы откроете удивительно интересный и незаслуженно обделенный вниманием квартал Ротерманна. Я покажу потрясающие дома 19 века и новейшие постройки, расскажу, как возник креативный район на месте промышленного городка, и какую роль в развитии Таллина сыграл один из его самых успешных предпринимателей. Попутно обращу ваше внимание на места съемок «Сталкера» и дом, где жил брат Достоевского, которого писатель навещал трижды. Также поговорим о том, почему Олимпийские Игры-80 решили проводить не в Риге и Ленинграде, а в Таллине. И обсудим городские легенды о шпионаже в таллинских гостиницах.

Таллинн реально небольшой город, но благодаря таким гидам, как Александр он превращается в настоящую Вселенную! Так может получится только у человека, действительно знающего свой город и влюбленного в его камни и в его людей!

Экскурсия очень понравилась. Узнали много новых фактов о родном городе. Также было очень интересно зайти в квартал Ротерманна, где не только здорово посидеть в кафе, а узнать историю этого места. Спасибо Александру который очень интересно и с юмором вел экскурсию.

Прекрасный город, отличный гид, замечательный рассказчик. Понравился маршрут. Иначе я бы так и не выбралась за пределы старого города, который конечно же великолепен, но Александр мне открыл и другую сторону Таллина Надеюсь еще раз вернуться...Очень довольна экскурсией!
