Описание

Торжок — небольшой городок, вместивший богатое прошлое и многочисленные достопримечательности. Вы посетите древние монастыри и церкви, осмотрите усадьбы, гостиный двор и Путевой дворец. Услышите о вехах в летописи города, о торговых путях — и удивитесь, как на таком небольшом пространстве сочетаются контрасты архитектуры и встречаются времена.

Что вас ожидает

Город древний
Мы отправимся на территорию древнего городища: в Новоторжский кремль, державший длительную осаду монголов в XIII веке. Вы услышите об основании города и поймете, почему Торг стал Торжком. В Борисоглебском монастыре — одном из древнейших в России — увидите все стили храмового строительства. Мы поговорим о деревянном зодчестве, любуясь Тихвинской церковью, живописно расположившейся у обрыва: внутри сохранились росписи петровского времени. А соседствует с ним величественный образец ампира — Спасо-Преображенский собор.

Торговое прошлое
Перейдем на другой берег реки Тверцы, по которой бурлаки тянули барки с хлебом к Великому Новгороду и Петербургу — я расскажу о купеческом прошлом города и торговых водных путях. Вы увидите Путевой дворец, из окон которого Екатерина II любовалась видами на город, и узнаете, кто еще из государей останавливался здесь на пути из одной столицы в другую. Я покажу самую популярную гостиницу XIX века — гостиницу Пожарских, подаривших русской кулинарии знаменитые котлеты: каждый — от Пушкина до Аксакова — считал своим долгом их попробовать. А после осмотрите старинные усадьбы, услышите о знаменитом архитекторе Львове и о мастерстве золотого шитья, которое сохранили через века послушницы Вознесенского монастыря.

Смело рекомендую Павла: интересно, чётко, просто, проверенные источники. Кстати, после экскурсии вы реально будете помнить информацию, потому что подача классная 👍🏼

Павел - это потрясающий человек, рассказчик, историк, исследователь, экскурсовод. Время пролетело не заметно. Мы так заслушались Павла, что даже не заметили как время экскурсии подошло к концу (хотя вместо 2.5часов прошло 3часа). Даже дождь нам не помешал, Павел хорошо сориентировался - во время дождя мы либо стояли в беседке у музея Пушкина, либо на локациях в нашем авто. Павел не грузил датами, цифрами и сухими фактами. Всё повествование на столько живое и доступным языком, что запоминается само собой. Самое ценное, что Павел многие факты добывает сам в архивах или на местах в раскопках. Мы очень рады, что город Торжок нам представил именно Павел, было безумно интересно. ПАВЕЛ, СПАСИБО БОЛЬШОЕ от нашей немногочисленной женской компании.

Когда человек увлечен и погружён в своё дело видно сразу и это про Павла, глубина повествования удивляет, любой вопрос в сторону может затянутся, развернутым ответом, и хочется, слушать и слушать. Павел историк и прекрасный гид, экскурсия формирует представление о городе и людях, а длилась аж 3 часа. Только положительные впечатления.
