Описание

Знакомство с Салониками — это, в первую очередь, встреча с богатой историей, сотканной из эпох Древнего Рима, Византии и Османской империи. Осматривая главные памятники города, вы услышите о его поворотных и роковых моментах, о разных народах и конфессиях, сформировавших культуру Салоник. А также узнаете о традициях и ценностях современных фессалоникийцев.

Прогулка по волнам истории
Салоникам больше двух тысяч лет, но по греческим меркам его вполне можно назвать молодым. На прогулке вы узнаете, как получилось, что с самого основания города здесь, в отличии от многих других уголков страны, безостановочно кипела жизнь. Познакомитесь с древнеримскими памятниками, византийскими храмами и постройками Османской империи. Узнаете о поворотных и роковых моментах города. А также я расскажу об этноконфессиональной мозаике Салоник, где сто лет назад лишь треть населения составляли православные греки, а остальными жителями были иудеи и мусульмане.

Визитные карточки Салоник
Вы побываете на главной площади Аристотеля и посетите храм Св. Софии 7 века, который является маленькой копией одноименного храма в Стамбуле. Прогуляетесь по набережной и увидите символ Салоник — Белую Башню. Здесь же вы рассмотрите несколько современных памятников и можно сделать интересные фотографии. Пройдете к главным памятникам римской эпохи — Арке Галериуса и Ротонде. А затем, по желанию, отправитесь на смотровую площадку вдоль древней крепостной стены.

Современная жизнь города
Салоники остаются одним из крупнейших городов Греции, и, помимо погружения в прошлое, вы познакомитесь с его молодежной стороной. За чашкой ароматного кофе в старых турецких банях, где сегодня расположилось колоритное кафе, поговорим о безмерной любви греков к кофе-паузам. Вы узнаете о фессалоникийцах нашего времени, их традициях, быте и ценностях, и поймете, какие они — нынешние эллины.

На днях были на экскурсии в Салониках. Остались очень довольными (беря во внимание, что современного подростка очень трудно заинтересовать). Узнали много для себя интересного о современной жизни греков. Отдельный респект за гастрономический рекомендации (Яна мы таки успели попробовать креветки саганаки и на пляж съездили:)))
