В Толчковской и Коровницкой слободах вы услышите историю церкви, изображенной на 1000-рублевой купюре, узнаете о быте богатых горожан и познакомитесь с ценным образцом каменного зодчества 17 века. В Толгском монастыре поговорим о чудотворной иконе, кедровой роще и легендах, связанных с Иваном Грозным и Ермаком.

Что вас ожидает

Богатые «Коровники» и шедевр русского зодчества
Начинается экскурсия с посещения Коровницкой слободы. Вы услышите о былом быте ее жителей, выращивавших скот и поставлявших в город мясную и молочную продукцию. О возможностях обеспеченного населения этого старинного ярославского квартала. И выстроенном по их инициативе храмовом комплексе из летней и зимней церквей, колокольни и входных Святых ворот. А особое внимание уделим центральной алтарной апсиде церкви Иоанна Златоуста, обрамленной единственным в своем роде изразцовым цветным наличником, ведь именно благодаря этому храм попал во все каталоги русского каменного зодчества 17 века.

Святыня Толчковской слободы
А затем дойдём до того самого храма, который изображён на 1000-рублевой купюре. Эта необычная церковь с колокольней — старинный храм Иоанна Предтечи в Толчкове. Он поражает своими размерами и ещё недавно был крупнейшим в городе. А ещё, в отличие от многих ярославских обителей, имеет не пять, а целых пятнадцать глав! Кому и почему пришло в голову в 17 веке где-то на окраине строить огромную церковь? Об этом и поговорим на экскурсии. Храм осмотрим издалека и снаружи, т. к. сейчас он на реставрации.

Легенды Толгского монастыря
В завершение вы посетите прославленный монастырский комплекс, основанный в начале 14 века и ставший одним из самых известных и богатейших на Руси. Я расскажу о русских князьях, царях и императорах, которые приезжали в обитель и делали богатые пожертвования. И, конечно, о главной местной реликвии — чудотворной иконе Толгской Богоматери, благодаря которой Иван Грозный, по преданию, излечился от долго мучившей его болезни. Кроме того, вы узнаете об удивительной кедровой роще, с которой связано еще одно старинное предание о царе и первооткрывателе сибирских земель Ермаке. И сможете посетить замечательную трапезную, где готовят монастырскую пищу, а также продают хлеб, пряники, творог, различные соленья и варенья.

Разочарованы. Очень мало информации, по первым храмовым комплексам только постояли буквально 5 мин снаружи, и если один храм был на реставрации, тут, конечно, ничего не поделаешь, то второй открывался в 10 утра, экскурсия началась в 9, Юрий нас об этом не предупредил, можно было иначе составить маршрут. В Толгском монастыре Юрий сказал, что у нас свободное время. Показал, где икона, где какие строения, было ощущение, что у него свои дела, и он просто от нас хочет отделаться. За очень не маленькие деньги мы рассчитывали на интересную экскурсию. В результате можно было самим добраться и посмотреть информацию в интернете.

Сегодня посетили истинные жемчужины: храмовый комплекс Коровницкой слободы, полюбовались изразцовым цветным наличником. Посмотрели на святыню Толчковской слободы, подивились 15-ю главами церкви. В Толгском монастыре поклонились чудотворной иконе Толгской Богоматери. С большой любовью об этих жемчужинах нам рассказал гид Юрий. Огромное ему спасибо! И конечно, спасибо водителю Аркадию за удобную и безопасную дорогу.

Храм Иоанна Предтечи в Толчкове был закрыт на реконструкцию и обнесен забором, о чем гид даже не знал. Сторож приоткрыл калитку и позволил издалека и очень быстро взглянуть на храм. Времени на осмотр Толгского монастыря не достаточно, а уж на посещение монастырской трапезной вообще времени нет. Гид не предупредил, что обязательно надо иметь наличные деньги для покупок сувениров.

Экскурсия очень понравилась. Охватили те достопримечательности, до которых сложно добраться без машины. Великолепно провели три часа до отправления поезда. Водитель аккуратен, экскурсовод бесподобен
