Описание

За 2 часа неспешной прогулки вы поймёте, каким был быт гладиаторов и правителей в античном Риме. Я расскажу, где учились бойцы и было ли в их жизни место для любви и дружбы. Покажу остатки императорских бань и раскрою, как отец и сын Флавии построили Колизей. А ещё вы узнаете, что любили есть древние римляне и где они покупали продукты.

Что вас ожидает

Школа гладиаторов и Колизей
Вы посетите развалины Большой школы гладиаторов — Ludus Magnus, которые находятся позади Колизея. Я расскажу, каким был карьерный путь бойцов, как они подразделялись между собой с помощью костюмов и как складывалась их личная жизнь. Вы осмотрите и сам Колизей — крупнейший амфитеатр античной эпохи. И узнаете, как проходили выступления на его арене.

Судьбы и бани императоров
Я покажу вам остатки терм, построенных при римских императорах, и расскажу, как они были обустроены. Вы услышите, как жил первый правитель Римской империи Октавиан Август, почему дворец Нерона назвали «Золотым домом» и как Флавии строили Колизей.

Circo Massimo и лотерея
Затем мы отправимся к Circo Massimo — самому большому ипподрому Древнего Рима. Я расскажу, как здесь проходили забеги на колесницах и как люди относились к возницам. А ещё раскрою, как благодаря этим играм появился розыгрыш разных призов и подарков — прототип современной лотереи.

Красные фонари и древнеримская еда
К концу прогулки мы попадём в район Красных фонарей, где когда-то соседствовали ремесленные мастерские, притоны и рынок. Вы узнаете, чем питались люди античного времени и какие блюда появлялись на их столах чаще всего.
