Даже если у вас в запасе всего час для знакомства с Ростовом, я помогу составить цельное впечатление о древнем городе и увидеть его с лучшей смотровой точки! Каменный век и финно-угорские племена, славянская колонизация и современная история города — я расскажу обо всем коротко и по существу со звонницы кафедрального собора Ростовского кремля.

Ростов на ладони
С площадки уникальной звонницы перед вами откроется, пожалуй, лучшая панорама старинного города. С необычной точки мы рассмотрим Успенский собор 16 века, служивший усыпальницей князей и архиереев, церковь Спаса на Сенях, митрополичьи и государские хоромы, крепостные стены и башни. С высоты птичьего полета полюбуемся купеческой застройкой: Емельяновским рядом и гостиным двором. Вы увидите купола Рождественского девичьего монастыря, услышите историю Крестовоздвиженской колокольни, с трудом пережившей 20 век, отыщете взглядом земляные валы и современные здания.

Хроники и секреты древнего города
Обозревая город с колокольни, мы одновременно «прогуляемся» по эпохам Ростова: я расскажу об археологических находках у озера Неро, финно-угорских племенах, заселявших эти земли до нашей эры, и славянской колонизации Руси. Сквозь тысячелетнюю историю Успенского собора мы рассмотрим основные этапы развития Ростовской земли, Киевской Руси, Московского государства, Российской империи и СССР. Кто такой митрополит Иона III? Как отливались уникальные ростовские колокола? Как сложилась судьба главного безбожника Ростова? Об этом и многом другом мы поговорим на экскурсии.

Организационные детали

  • Предполагается подъем на звонницу Успенского собора по узкой кирпичной лестнице (вход за пожертвование в пользу прихода собора — 300 ₽)
  • Вход на звонницу Успенского собора открыт с 10:00 до 18:00. При бронировании на более раннее или позднее время проводится пешеходная экскурсия по центру города без посещения звонницы.
  • Вход в действующий собор предполагает головные уборы для женщин
  • Экскурсия полностью пешеходная, поэтому одеться лучше по погоде. Обязательно — удобная обувь, в зимнее время — теплая, но легкая одежда.

Огромное спасибо Дмитрию за экскурсию! Особое удовольствие получили, оказавшись на звоннице во время звучания колокола с красивым именем Лебедь! Очень много узнали о Ростове, получили ответы на все свои вопросы и остались в восторге от данного мероприятия!

С такой точки Ростов мы ещё не видели! Спасибо Дмитрию за рассказ об Успенском соборе, его звоннице, Ростовском архиерейском дворе, князьях и царях, правивших здесь или посещавших Ростов. Были на экскурсии 11 сентября проездом. Спасибо Дмитрию, что нашел для нас время днем в рабочий день! Дмитрий - замечательный экскурсовод, за час рассказал все самое главное и интересное, дал послушать звуки каждого колокола, без него бы мы не прониклись так историей города и ремесла литья колоколов. Были проездом в Ростове Великом, и воспользовались данной экскурсией. Всё очень понравилось, Дмитрий замечательный экскурсовод, увлекательно рассказывает, владеет богатой информацией и знаниями. Много исторических фактов и событий в своем рассказе добавляет, ни на минуту невозможно оторваться. Очень интересно и познавательно. Жаль, что было немного времени, с радостью приедем еще и побываем в других местах и посмотрим город целиком. Спасибо большое Дмитрию за увлекательную беседу. Рекомендую всем его экскурсию и рассказ.
