Описание

Словно в плавильных печах Урала, в характере и облике Екатеринбурга соединились традиции народа чудь, викингов и греков, старообрядцев и рудознатцев. Все они оставили на этих землях свои предания, сказки и легенды. Чтобы распутать этот клубок культур, мы прогуляемся по самым таинственным местам Екатеринбурга и проникнем в его древние секреты.

У истоков города…
Сперва мы поднимемся на Вознесенскую горку, с которой открывается вид на Екатеринбург и долину реки Исеть, где тысячи лет назад паслись стада мамонтов, а после пробирались по подземным ходам кержаки в тайную молельню. Вы узнаете о Тюремном замке, что таился у подножия горы, о поисках золотой жилы и о том, как это место связано с последним императором. Мы попробуем расслышать голос речки Мельковки, найдем земляные валы от старой крепостной стены, защищавшей город от Пугачева. И вспомним предания о том, где «шкелетина на ржавых цепях висит».

Что скрывает Екатеринбург
Вместе мы разберемся, как дача маршала Жукова связана со старинным Ново-Тихвинским монастырем, и раскроем тайну его подземелий. Посетим некрополь, где обрели покой 9 туристов группы Дятлова, и попробуем отделить в этой истории факты от мифов. Вы услышите, где искали золото Колчака, выясните, что такое «Отряси нога» и «Волчий порядок», где и как наказывали провинившихся в прошлые века. И это еще не все!
