Погружение в историю
По пути в Свияжск вы полюбуетесь панорамой Волги и Свияги, раскроете особенности татарской культуры и узнаете, какие слободы окружали в старину город. А еще услышите, какую роль Свияжск сыграл в истории Казанского ханства, как он стал центром православия в Поволжье и как с ним связан Иван Грозный. Кроме того, я расскажу о присоединении Казани к Русскому царству в 16 веке и о самых знаменитых фресках острова.

Самое-самое в Свияжске
Поднимемся на остров по нетуристической тропе, любуясь панорамами рек. Вы увидите древнейшие постройки Свияжска: Успенский мужской монастырь и женский Иоанно-Предтеченский монастырь. Посетите собор иконы Божией Матери «Всех скорбящих Радость», возведённый в начале прошлого столетия в неовизантийском стиле. Внешне осмотрим единственную в Поволжье сохранившуюся деревянную Троицкую церковь времён Ивана Грозного и собор Успения Пресвятой Богородицы — творение псковских мастеров. Пройдётесь по селу, узнаете чем занимаются свияжцы и где живут. Окунётесь в атмосферу уездного города.
