Я расскажу о родном любимом городе, ориентируясь на ваши интересы, поделюсь ценными советами по нашему краю. За 1,5 часа вы познакомитесь с финским наследием, подниметесь на гору с дивными видами и услышите о неразрывных связях города с эпосом Калевала.

Что вас ожидает

Насыщенный маршрут
Старт нашей прогулки на пристани, откуда открывается чудесный вид на залив Ладоги и остров Риеккалансаари, с которого начиналась Сортавала. Мы обсудим, зачем и как строили город, а еще выясним, за что Петербург может поблагодарить эти места.

Погуляем по первой улице Сортавала и выйдем к центру с его финскими строениями. Вы поймете, почему в городе так много банков, удивитесь особенности наших площадей, увидите пожарную каланчу, дом купца Сийтонена, дом-замок Леандера и восстановленный дом Берга.

Мир Калевала, или предания города
События Калевалы, карело-финского эпоса, происходили в наших краях. К этой теме мы не раз вернемся на прогулке. Я покажу вам памятник рунопевцу, расскажу, как в городе возрождаются традиции, и раскрою смысл наших замысловатых топонимов. Финские времена Сортавала вы представите в парке Ваккосалми, а завершится экскурсия на горе Кухавуори — отсюда вы полюбуетесь панорамой города, прекрасной в любое время суток.

Огромное спасибо Вере за знакомство с городом. Очень интересная, душевная прогулка по улицам и набережной. Чувствуется, что Вера искренне любит Сортавалу. Она с такой нежностью рассказывает про те или иные здания, что ты мысленно переносишься в те времена, о которых идёт повествование. Все было замечательно, нам очень понравилось. С удовольствием будем рекомендовать друзьям эту недолгую и познавательную прогулку.
