Описание

На прогулке по небольшому районному центру вы увидите, как замечательно здесь сочетается карельский уют и древняя история. Вы узнаете, как складывалась судьба поселения на главном водном пути из Новгорода по Онежскому озеру. Познакомитесь с сохранившейся планировкой и застройкой 19 века. А еще услышите о сказочниках края и пудожских налимах.

Что вас ожидает

Город с богатой историей

  • Вы услышите об истоках поселения, основанного на правом берегу Водлы, недалеко от ее впадения в Онежское озеро. Я расскажу о первых упоминаниях Пудожа в берестяных грамотах Новгорода, возникших здесь боярских и монастырских владениях.
  • Объясню, как повлияло на край Смутное время и какие перемены сюда принес церковный раскол.
  • У памятного знака поговорим об указе Екатерины II, благодаря которому Пудож обрел статус уездного города, о первых металлургических и стекольных заводах, развитии местных промыслов и льноводства.
  • Также вы узнаете о роли Пудожского погоста в торговой жизни Восточного Обонежья.

Знаковые места Пудожа
Вы познакомитесь с историей городских планировок. В исторической части я покажу сохранившуюся геометрическую сетку улиц 19 века и застройку той эпохи, включая дом купца Базегского. Вы также осмотрите храм Св. Александра Невского 1903 года и недавно построенную церковь иконы Божьей Матери Скоропослушницы. Если пожелаете, отправимся в историко-краеведческий музей.

Кроме того, по пути вы выясните, кто такие пудожские налимы, чем в разные времена прославились местные жители, какое наследие оставили сказочники края и чем известно урочище Черная Речка. А в завершение я буду рада дать вам рекомендации по дальнейшему изучению города и окрестностей, где также находится национальный парк «Водлозерский», петроглифы «Бесов нос», Муромский монастырь и другие интересные места.

Ольга- замечательный экскурсовод, любящий свой маленький городок Пудож. Здесь живут люди,есть своя многовековая история, взлеты, расцветы и черные страницы...Мы узнали ,чем жил город: об особенном сорте льна- Карелка,о немногочисленном купечестве, много сделавшем для города. Спасибо огромное за ваш труд.

17 ноября 2024 г. удалось побывать на экскурсии "В гости к старинному Пудожу "проводила её Ольга - профессионал своего дела 👍 Большое СПАСИБО!!! Сразу видно, что Ольга любит свой город, с какой тщательностью и кропотливостью собирает сведения и рассказывает, слушаешь с упоением..., и это очень восхищает. Дело в том, что я в третий раз приезжаю в Пудож в командировку, и без её рассказа для меня этот город был бы грустным, серым, непримечательным... Напротив, как оказалось, Пудож - город с очень богатой историей, замечательными людьми, которыми, я уверен, гордятся сами жители. Возьмём богатейшего купца А. П. Базегского, общественный деятель, благотворитель, а также интереснейший человек... Занимался переработкой и сбытом льна, торговлей хлебными, бакалейными и мануфактурными товарами, имел торговые ряды в центре города, который с радостью показала Ольга. Впечатлила и Площадь Павших Борцов и значимость её для местных пудожан. Ольга, ещё раз огромное спасибо Вам за Ваш труд и прекрасное аккумулирование и передачу информации по Любимому городу!!!
