Описание

Торжок — маленький уютный городок, притягивающий путешественников самобытной архитектурой и необычным ландшафтом. Вместе мы исследуем его старинные улицы и площади, полюбуемся церквями и монастырями. Отыщем интересные здания и представим, как выглядели несколько столетий назад Торговые ряды.

Что вас ожидает

Уютный Торжок
Мы пройдем по бывшей Климентовской улице, где когда-то жили купцы. Погуляем по живописному бульвару, послушаем колоритную речь горожан и насладимся местной идиллической атмосферой. Я покажу деревянную церковь Тихвинской иконы Божией матери, Путевой дворец Екатерины II и Торговые ряды. А также старейшую православную обитель Центральной России — Новоторжский Борисоглебский монастырь.

Путешествие во времени
Торжок — хранитель тысячелетней истории. Я расскажу, какие события происходили в нем на протяжении столетий, какие знаменитые люди бывали и что отличает его от других городов страны. Расшифрую особенности местной архитектуры и поясню, кто такие новоторы, каковы их обычаи и нравы. Поделюсь интересными фактами о домашней жизни купечества и раскрою, как здесь построили церковь без единого гвоздя.

Обширный исторический материал, подготовленный Светланой, отлично иллюстрирован фотографиями Торжка конца XIX - начала ХХ веков. Торжок-милый ,тихий,чудный городок! Были всего один день,успели посетить только обзорную экскурсию по городу. Светлана дала нам общее представление об истории Торжка .Планируем вернуться еще,чтобы посетить музеи и познакомиться с городом подробнее.Он того стоит!

Весь центр Торжка на реконструкции, поэтому трудно получить полное впечатление и удовольствие от экскурсии. Светлана делала всё, что могла, показывала много старых фотографий и рисунков, было много цитат и интересных нюансов. Нам немного не хватило структуры, хронологии, целостного представления о Торжке и окрестностях.
