Гуляли по Владимиру с прекрасным гидом Корнеем. Экскурсия была заботливо организована его женой Татьяной, которая не только поинтересовалась впервые ли мы знакомимся с городом или это не первый приезд и помогла подобрать оптимальный формат прогулки, но и снабдила нас длинным перечнем рекомендаций по ресторанам, кофейням и знаковым местам города. Корней любезно согласился сдвинуть начало встречи чтобы мы успели заехать к Покровам на Нерли. Рассказ о городе и маршрут прогулки позволили нам не просто узнать об истории Владимира, основных этапах его становления и развития, увидеть его красоту, но и проникнуться особенным настроением, которое он вызывает. Корней стремился показать нам как можно больше и рассказать самое интересное, и очень старался максимально вовлечь порядком утомленных поездкой детей. Описание
Более 130 лет Владимир был центром небольшой, но густонаселенной промышленной губернии. Вы узнаете, как жили тогда горожане: чиновники, купцы и мещане. Где они учились, отдыхали и молились, какие у них были проблемы и как они их решали. А дополнят образ провинциального губернского города веселые цитаты из газет того времени.

Владимир сквозь эпохи
Мы пройдем по участку знаменитой дороги «Владимирка», рассматривая сохранившиеся старинные здания. Я покажу Большие и Малые торговые ряды, мужскую и женскую гимназии, Пожарную каланчу и Водонапорную башню. Кроме того, мы заглянем в Никитскую церковь и Княгинин монастырь, увидим кинотеатры Ампир и Модерн.

Мы обсудим главные составляющие жизни губернского Владимира: бытовую, культурную, религиозную и хозяйственную. Вы узнаете, как здесь строилась система обучения, где находился первый театр и когда в городе появился водопровод. Как выглядели гостиницы «для люда чистого», что происходило на постоялых дворах и какие важные дела решались в трактирах.

Замечательная авторская экскурсия. Много интересных исторических фактов. Особо хотелось бы отметить зачитанные вслух газетные заметки, выжимки из писем, отсылки к судебным тяжбам.
