Описание

Изборск — один из древнейших русских городов. Именно сюда в 862 году пришёл княжить варяг Трувор. Мы начнём с того самого места, где в 9 веке стоял город, — нынешнего Труворова городища. А потом спустимся к Словенским ключам, поднимемся на стены крепости, заглянем в подземный лаз и поедем кормить страусов.

Что вас ожидает

Вы увидите

  • Труворово городище — место, где зародился древний град Изборск. На подходе вас встретит большой каменный крест над могилой Трувора
  • Словенские ключи и Городищенское озеро. Родники не замерзают круглый год, поэтому лебеди живут здесь постоянно — почти ручные и всегда приветливые
  • Крепость на Жеравьей горе. Здесь можно подняться в башни, спуститься в подземный лаз или пройти по стене
  • Страусиную ферму в нескольких километрах от крепости. Кроме страусов, тут птичий дворик с утками, гусями и петухами, а ещё лиса, зайцы, олени, выдра и другие животные

Организационные детали

  • Едем на вашем автомобиле. В нём должно быть место для гида
  • Маршрут не подойдёт для семей с маленькими детьми (с коляской) и для пожилых людей: местность вокруг крепости каменистая
  • С собой можно взять корм для лебедей (зерновые смеси, свежие овощи) и бутылочку для родниковой воды
