Описание
Пюхтица — Святое место. В XVI веке эстонские пастухи стали свидетелями явления Пресвятой Девы Марии. На месте её появления, около дуба, крестьяне нашли икону Успения Божьей Матери, сейчас она находится в Успенском соборе Пюхтицкого монастыря. Я расскажу историю монастыря и обретения иконы, объясню местные обычаи и правила. Вы также узнаете о коренном народе и религии Эстонии, о жизни в монастыре.
Программа
- По пути в монастырь я буду рассказывать об Эстонии, о ее делении на уезды, о коренном народе — эстах, о жизни простых эстонских крестьян: об их традициях, питании (например, как хлеб выпекали без трубы), тяжелой работе, о типе жилья и прочем.
- Вы также узнаете о религии нашей страны: о язычестве, которое было в начале, о католиках-лютеранах, о том, как в страну приходило православие и о его основных подвижниках в Эстонии.
- Вы увидите все пять храмов Пюхтицкого монастыря. У него драматичная история — я ее обязательно расскажу. Сейчас здесь действует обитель под руководством игуменьи Филареты, а в монастыре живет около 120 монахинь и послушниц. Вы узнаете, как строился монастырь, как его перестраивали, о монастырском уставе, о игуменах прошлых и настоящих, о монастырской жизни.
- Я также расскажу о патриархе великом всея Руси Алексии Втором, который родился в Эстонии — еще одна личность, которая объединяет нашу страну с Россией. Благодаря ему Пюхтицкий монастырь не закрыли во время СССР. «Смысл жизни человека — в его личном совершенствовании, чтобы с годами он становился лучше, добрее. И сеял вечное, доброе в сердца людей» (Патриарх Московский и Всея Руси Алексий Второй)
- Внизу у подножия горы, на которой пастухам явилась Дева Мария, стал бить Святой источник. В теплую погоду вы сможете в нем искупаться. Вы также увидите дуб, рядом с которым обнаружили икону.
В результате вы откроете значимый религиозный центр Эстонии, узнаете о религии и коренном населении страны, разберетесь в особенностях крестьянской и монастырской жизни, познакомитесь с судьбой и влиянием в Эстонии патриарха Руси Алексия Второго.
