«Тропа Свободы» — исторический маршрут, который начинается в главном парке Бостон-Коммон и простирается на 4,5 километра вдоль самой старой части города. На прогулке вы услышите о ключевых эпизодах прошлого Бостона, без которых невозможно понять истоков и сути истории независимости США. И осознаете роль города как идейной столицы страны.

Всё очень понравилось! Маршрут проложен оптимально, проходит в спокойном ритме (что было важно, т.к. с нами был ребенок 9 лет). Наши просьбы и пожелания учитывались. Абсолютно не устали, напитались новой информацией. Очень довольны! Спасибо, Алёна!

Вторая прогулка с Аленой была такой же тёплой и увлекательной, как и первая! Она умеет показать город с неожиданной стороны, делая экскурсию лёгкой, живой и наполненной интересными историями. Спасибо за новые впечатления и приятную атмосферу!

У нас не сложилась экскурсия с Аленой. Мы объединили две экскурсии - Гарвард и Тропа Свободы. На протяжении всей экскурсии, которая длилась 6 часов, во время передвижения по маршруту 90% прошли в тишине, т.е. Алена быстро шла впереди или за рулем и практически ни о чем не рассказывала. Мы очень ждали и предвкушали наше путешествие, хотели познакомить сына-подростка с легендарным университетом, погрузится и проникнуться атмосферой университета и прекрасного Бостона, но ничего этого не получили. Несомненно Алена обладает знаниями, но подаются они точечно, локально, совершенно не встроенные в общую концепцию и линию маршрута. Начинается экскурсия не с общего рассказа о местности, городе, истории, а о каких-то зданиях или фактах, собрать это воедино очень сложно, если ты не в курсе событий. По Гарварду вообще не было продуманного маршрута, все стихийно и сумбурно, зачастую приходилось выуживать информацию. Экскурсия в Бостоне заявлена как Тропа Свободы. Так вот нам даже не обозначили, что входит в этот маршрут и почему он так называется, а было сказано, что за одну экскурсию его невозможно пройти!? Мы объединили два маршрута, но разве это означает, что мы не должны быть посвящены в тему экскурсии в любом случае и понимать, что мы посмотрели, а что осталось неохваченным?! Впервые столкнулись, что перекус был представлен, что гид не может без еды и помчалась одна в кофейню, хотя мы все были голодные и совершенно не против были сделать небольшую паузу. Повторюсь - никакой системы, общей картины и приятной атмосферы. Полное разочарование.

Хотя Тропу Свободы прошли с Алёной месяц назад, и сейчас очень сильны впечатления! Впечатления оставляет визуальный ряд, конечно, но, наверно, ценнее увиденного услышанное... Чего уж таить, история США преподавалась в школе кратко и бегло. И, возможно поэтому, в русскоязычном мире американцы воспринимаются как чудаки, если не сказать грубее... Ценность данной экскурсии не только в превосходном изложении исторического материала, но и в культурном , и философском переосмыслении моментов появления в мире новой великой страны и процессов создания новой "нации" - американцев. Нам очень повезло, что экскурсия была практически в самом начале путешествия по США, потому что без знаний и впечатлений бережно предложенных Алёной , мы ничего бы и не поняли про эту страну.
