Описание
Приглашаю вас на обзорную прогулку по Ассизи — духовной столице Умбрии, второму по величине после Ватикана религиозному центру католического вероисповедания. Город представляет собой миниатюрное средневековое поселение на южном склоне горы Монте-Субазио и хранит множество памятников и историй, с которыми я вас познакомлю.
Что вас ожидает
В Ассизи родился и обрёл вечный покой Святой Франциск — покровитель Италии, основатель ордена францисканцев и один из самых влиятельных религиозных деятелей Средневековья. Ежегодно миллионы паломников приезжают сюда, чтобы помолиться перед святыми мощами. Атмосфера города наполнена духовностью: каждый уголок хранит память о святом — я расскажу вам историю его жизни и то, как она переплетается с историей города.
Мы будем заходить в церкви и базилики, а также изучать все места, которые тесно связаны с наиболее важными эпизодами жизни Франциска:
- дом, где он родился
- кафедральный собор Сан Руфино, где принял крещение
- семейный дом
- церковь Санта Мария Маджоре, где Франциск отрёкся от богатств
Мы увидим:
- фрески великих мастеров итальянского готического художества — Джотто, Чимабуэ, Пьетро Лорензетти, Симоне Мартини и других
- памятники различных эпох: древнеримский храм богини Минервы и Дворец приоров
- крипту Святого Николы, в которой расположен Римский музей
Важные события, на которые можно попасть:
- Праздник наступления весны отмечается в Ассизи каждый год в первые четверг, пятницу и субботу мая. В эти дни проходят многочисленные мероприятия, среди которых: палио, исторический парад, музыкальные и театральные представления
- Праздник прощения проходит каждый год с полудня 1 августа до полуночи 2 августа. Для того чтобы получить прощение всех грехов, следует исповедаться, причаститься и произнести молитвы. Ассизское прощение можно попросить не только для себя, но и для усопших
Организационные детали
Мы встретимся в Ассизи. Добраться до города можно на поезде без пересадок из Рима (2,5 часа в пути), Флоренции (от 2 до 3 часов), Терни (около 1 часа). От ж/д станции до центра Ассизи можно добраться на городском автобусе, которые ходят примерно каждые 30 минут, время в пути — 13 минут.

Очень понравился паломнический город Ассизи! Благодаря Елене узнали много нового и интересного. Материал хорошо структурирован, ничего лишнего, за 3 часа много успели посмотреть. Однозначно рекомендуем экскурсию с Еленой по Ассизи!

Описание экскурсии соответствует полностью тому, что мы увидели и услышали. Для нас важнее было познакомится ближе с жизнью Франциска Ассизского - и Елена сделала акцент именно на этой части. Хотя сам город тоже успела показать. Елена - замечательный рассказчик, в теме разбирается и при этом адаптирует свой рассказ под слушателей. (Ну, во всяком случае, нам с женой так показалось). На редкость насыщенная, информативная и нескучная экскурсия. Елене огромное спасибо, а остальным туристам - рекомендуем послушать рассказы Елены о Умбрии и её удивительных жителях. Pace e bene!

От всей души рекомендуем Елену - нашего экскурсовода в Ассизи. Заранее обсудили место и время встречи (удобная подземная парковка в 5 минутах ходьбы от начала маршрута), начали вовремя, нам очень повезло, что было совсем немного туристов - удалось спокойно обойти все достопримечательности Ассизи. Елена прекрасно владеет материалом, очень интересно рассказывает, эрудированна - прекрасно разбирается в истории, культуре. Экскурсия прошла очень увлекательно и вся семья была довольна.
