Описание
Путеводители по Праге рекомендуют, разгуливая по улицам, глядеть не под ноги, а вверх. И это отличная идея — впечатлений соберётся много! Лучше всего о столице Чехии расскажут башни — Прагу уже почти двести лет называют «стобашенной». Я выбрал самые интересные из них и составил маршрут по историческому центру, который понравится любителям дат, имён и неожиданных открытий.
Что вас ожидает
Башни в Праге есть самые разные: колокольные, оборонительные, наблюдательные и даже водонапорные… Если пересчитать все, получится 120. И у каждой есть прошлое, за которым прячется что-то ещё. В маршрут экскурсии я включил несколько башен, которые по праву можно назвать визитными карточками города:
- Пороховая башня — она, как в стихах у Лермонтова, «на севере диком стоит одиноко». Я расскажу, каким было её окружение и почему она осталась одна. А вы попробуете представить городские стены, рвы и подъёмные мосты, чтобы перенестись в Прагу времён Вацлава I.
- Йиндржишская башня — её появление на свет совпало с рождением Нового города. Поговорим о том, как этой башне пришлось послужить фортом и потом долго восстанавливаться от ран.
- Староместская башня — она была построена в далёком 1381 году, а потому отлично помнит тьму кровавых историй, которыми я поделюсь.
- Астрономическая башня — здесь мы посмотрим на Прагу с высоты 50 метров, на время отвлечёмся от военных историй и побеседуем на научные темы.
- Щитковская водонапорная башня — глядя на неё, порассуждаем о том, как в прежние времена город обеспечивался водой.

Вчера я совершил увлекательное путешествие по Праге в компании пражского гида Андрея. Экскурсия, посвященная "Пражским башням", оказалась настоящим открытием. Я гуманитарий, давно живущий в Европе и давно преподающий в университете. Недавно у меня наметилась небольшая рабочая поездка в Прагу (в которой я бывал уже многажды) и один из дней я решил посвятить осмысленной прогулке по ней. Собственно, для этого мне и понадобился проводник. Посмотрев кое-какие предложения и профили гидов, я увидел одну единственную опубликованную экскурсию Андрея «История стобашенной Праги» и решил, что это может быть интересно. С Андреем мы вместе провели почти целый день и сказать, что я впечатлён его коммуникабельностью, коммуникативностью и профессионализмом – значит, не сказать ничего. Будучи университетским лектором с огромным стажем и, в общем-то, довольно придирчивым человеком, я с трудом объясняю себе, как у него получилось практически мгновенно вовлечь меня в интереснейший диалог, который был ещё и лёгким, и интригующим, и чрезвычайно познавательным. Андрей – человек удивительной образованности, с превосходным чувством юмора и исключительной интеллигентностью в самых лучших традициях этого слова. За время нашей с ним прогулки я, к своему удивлению, увидел хорошо знакомую мне Прагу абсолютно по-новому: в сочном разрезе общеевропейской эволюции, истории и культуры. В итоге у меня сложился совершенно новый образ города, появилось новое его восприятие, и родился новый к нему интерес. Андрей, спасибо и искренне рад знакомству с Вами!
