Описание

Крестоносцы, монахи, алхимики, вольные каменщики — все эти ордены и тайные общества оставили интересные (но не всегда заметные непосвященным) знаки на наших домах. Мы посетим таинственные средневековые церкви Риги, включая, конечно, Домский собор, и я помогу вам разобраться в секретах и символах, которые они сохранили до наших дней.

Программа

  • Начнем в старинном квартале, где находился первый центр средневековой Риги. Сейчас около церкви Святого Петра исполняют желания Бременские музыканты и продают сувениры, однако когда-то здесь шумели нешуточные страсти.
  • Заглянув на короткую узкую улочку, попытаемся найти следы давно минувших лет. Я расскажу вам о самых знаменитых подземельях Риги и жизни в монастырях. Мы найдем хорошо сохранившийся участок настоящей крепостной стены.
  • Вторая часть экскурсии пройдет в одном из самых древних зданий нашего города — Домском соборе, впитавшем дух восьми веков. Войдя в храм, сразу понимаешь, что готика — это свет, бестелесность и вечное стремление человеческой души ввысь. Лучи солнца проникают внутрь через ажурные окна, украшенные красочными витражами, а в алтарной части расцветает шестилепестковая роза. Стены собора украшают эпитафные гербы знатных родов и гильдий. Здесь можно отыскать герб рода Бенкендорф, Черноголовых и прекрасно сохранившуюся каменную эпитафию славному роду Тизенгаузенов.

Я расскажу:

  • какие тайны хранит этот древний храм;
  • какие легенды рассказывают старожилы о хранителях сокровищ собора;
  • почему «окаменела» маленькая мышка кружевной решетки;
  • чем славится Зал капитула и Крестовая галерея Домского монастыря;
  • в чем секрет «одухотворенности» знаменитого органа.

Я надеюсь, что после этой экскурсии в ваших воспоминаниях, как и у Николая Рериха, Рига останется «прежде всего, одухотворенной величественным собором».

  • Дополнительные расходы: входные билеты в музей (Домский собор и Крестовая галерея) — 5 евро/чел;
  • C конца марта до конца января в концертном зале Домского собора проходят органные концерты. Концерт в Домском соборе (12:00, кроме воскресенья) — 15 евро/чел.
