Описание

История Твери делится на «до» и «после». До пожара 1763 г. Тверь — образцовый средневековый город, после — известный на всю Россию центр притяжения. Почему такое печальное событие не низвело Тверь до простого уездного городочка? Почему при Екатерине II она стала третьим городом империи? Как стал выглядеть город в конце 18–19 вв.? Мы прогуляемся по центру и отыщем ответы на эти вопросы.

Что вас ожидает

При Екатерине Великой Тверь получила статус третьего города Российской империи. О том, как город заново застраивался, кто его посещал и какого мнения остался о Твери, мы поговорим на этой обзорной экскурсии.
Вы увидите подбор редких архивных материалов, связанных с перестройкой города, а также будете иметь возможность подержать в руках археологические находки, которые не покажут ни на одной другой экскурсии.

  • Начиная от Императорского дворца, мы разберемся, откуда произошел пожар, и почему дворец ошибочно называется путевым.
  • Гуляя по городскому саду, узнаем, что не учли, когда строили «третий город Российской Империи».

Алексей ПРЕКРАСЕН!! Лучший гид которого я встречал. Причем гид, это не совсем правильно. Слушать рассказ от профессионального историка немного другое, чем просто «.. посмотрите направо, посмотрите налево…» Глубочайшее знание материала и простая подача, делают экскурсии с Алексеем в превосходный урок истории. Настоятельно всем рекомендую.

Замечательная экскурсия с Алексеем - профессиональным историком и просто обаятельным человеком с отличным чувством юмора. Будет интересна и глубоко интересующимся, и туристам "легкого веса". Во время нашей второй поездки в Тверь мы выбрали Алексея и остались очень довольны. Спасибо!

Экскурсия хорошая, Алексей хороший рассказчик и с юмором, экскурсия не занудная, что для меня важно. Но, к сожалению, не то, что нам было нужно. Мы с поезда пошли на экскурсию, не зная ничего про город, ожидали обзорную экскурсию, эта экскурсия историческая. На мой взгляд для первого знакомства с городом не подходит.
