Описание

Повенец — небольшой посёлок недалеко от Медвежьегорска. Когда-то он носил статус уездного города и был известен поговоркой «Повенец — всему свету конец!»: здесь заканчивалась «Осударева дорога», построенная во времена Петра I. Но 20 век внёс свои коррективы в судьбу посёлка: в 1930-е началось масштабное строительство Беломорканала ГУЛАГовцами. Изучим это место и его историю!

Что вас ожидает

В 20 веке Повенец стал символом трагических событий 30-х годов: сперва здесь началось строительство Беломорско-Балтийского канала силами заключённых ГУЛАГа, а затем недалеко от Повенца появился расстрельный полигон жертв массовых репрессий.

Давно собирались съездить к Беломорканалу, но не ожидали, что экскурсия может быть настолько увлекательной! Александр прекрасно подал материал. Было и познавательно, и занимательно. Приведено много фактов, о которых мы впервые слышали. Кроме исторической части было уделено внимание и техническим аспектам стройки. Прозвучали истории о людях, связанных с Беломорканалом, об их судьбах. И еще нам повезло увидеть проход судов через шлюзы канала! Несколько часов экскурсии пролетели как один миг! Спасибо Александру за прекрасный рассказ!

Спасибо огромное нашему экскурсоводу Александру — столько знаний и харизмы в одном человеке, что мы слушали, открыв рты! Истории — огонь, маршрут — продуман до мелочей, атмосфера — волшебная. А ещё — гордость и радость: наша 88‑летняя бабушка прошла весь путь с улыбкой и даже дополняла экскурсию своими детскими воспоминаниями! Александр, Вы — супер!
