Описание

Именно благодаря фортификационным особенностям этих стен великий город простоял 1123 года. На экскурсии мы детально исследуем участки и фрагменты крепостного сооружения. Найдём ответы на самые интересные и загадочные вопросы византийского военного зодчества. И порассуждаем о том, как османам удалось-таки взять эту неприступную цитадель.

Что вас ожидает

  • Вы увидите древние ворота Силиврикапы. Рассмотрите боевую булаву янычара Идриса, ров, тройную линию обороны. И подниметесь на башню с прекрасным видом на Мраморное море.
  • Пройдём вдоль величественных стен с многочисленными башнями и войдём в ворота Мевланакапы. Я познакомлю вас с необычным устройством средневековых ворот. После поднимемся по винтовой каменной лестнице на боевую площадку стены. Доберёмся до главной воротной башни и полюбуемся панорамой Стамбула.
  • Спустимся в сквер с элементами ландшафтного дизайна, выполненного в историческом стиле.
  • Далее прогуляемся вдоль оборонительных стен и рва до ворот Топкапы и посетим исторический музей «Панорама 1453 года», где погрузимся в весьма реалистичную картину штурма стен Константинополя османскими войсками.

Всем, кому интересна история, особенно военная, рекомендую. Вы как будто своими глазами увидите сражение, повлиявшее на траекторию жизни Константинополя и в целом на историю человечества. Вы подниметесь на стены Царьграда, удивитесь мощи укреплений, узнаете, из какого необычного материала оказывается можно делать ядра для пушек и куда делись могильные плиты с христианского кладбища. А еще очень древняя византийская церковь, стоящая на источнике, ворота, к которым по легенде прибил свой щит князь Олег - много всего!
