Описание

В середине первого тысячелетия нашей эры Константинополь — тогда ещё столица Римской империи и Византии — считался главным деловым центром и самым большим городом в мире. Современный Стамбул — это динамичный мегаполис. Но приметы исчезнувшей Византийской империи до сих пор будоражат умы людей. Мы с вами отыщем её следы и погрузимся в легенды святынь и дворцов.

Что вас ожидает

Таинственный древний Константинополь — всё ещё тут, в Стамбуле. Византийское наследие проглядывает среди храмов, дворцов, улиц и площадей. Почти ничего не огорожено и не снабжено табличками. Но его можно разглядеть – если знать, куда смотреть. В поисках следов древней империи вам предстоит:

  • проследить путь Святой Софии oт Великой церкви к Феодосиевой базилике и Юстиниановой Софии
  • рассмотреть фрески-мозаики, которым приписывают целебный эффект
  • найти следы любви Юстиниана и Феодоры
  • отыскать отпечаток руки османского Мехмеда Завоевателя и опорный столб, где обитал ангел, стороживший Святую Софию
  • изучить сюжеты мозаик и обсудить интересные детали

  • Территория бывшего Большого дворца
  • Акрополь (главная площадь)
  • Цистерны (хранилища пресной воды)
  • Церковь святой Ирины

Организационные детали

  • Некоторые музеи-церкви могут быть закрыты на реставрацию, подробности уточняйте при бронировании
  • При посещении храмов колени и плечи должны быть закрытыми. Женщинам рекомендую иметь с собой платок
  • Дополнительно оплачиваются входные билеты:
    — Святая София — €25 с человека. Без очереди + 5 евро. Подробности в WatsApp
    — Цистерна Базилика — 1950 лир с человека ( или 3000 лир с 19:30 до 22:00). При желании можем заменить её на одну из бесплатных небольших цистерн
    — Церковь Святой Ирины — 900 лир с человека. При желании её можно осмотреть снаружи
