Каир — это не только музеи и пирамиды. Приглашаем выйти за пределы туристических районов и получить более объёмное представление о египетской столице! Мы покажем разный Каир: удивляющий, шокирующий и восхищающий. Вы погуляете по «городу мёртвых» и Городу Мусорщиков, посетите великолепный парк Аль-Азхар и побываете в грандиозном пещерном монастыре.
Что вас ожидает
Город Мусорщиков. Мы погуляем по бедному району Маншият Насир на восточной окраине города, куда свозят мусор со всего Каира. Его населяют потомственные мусорщики заббалины. Вы раскроете особенности их происхождения и повседневной жизни.
Монастырь Святого Симеона. Вы посетите крупнейшее на Ближнем Востоке религиозное сооружение, вмещающее до 20 тысяч прихожан. Роль привычных церковных сводов в нём выполняют стены пещеры.
«Город мёртвых». Так называют огромный некрополь у подножия горы Мукаттам. Это мусульманское кладбище, где несколько веков хоронили простых людей и представителей знати. Вы увидите, как обычные надгробия соседствуют здесь с величественными мавзолеями.
Парк Аль-Азхар. Раньше на его месте была свалка строительного мусора. Сейчас это великолепный зелёный оазис неподалёку от Старого города. Вы погуляете по его аллеям, сочетающим современный дизайн и стиль древних исламских садов.
Улица Аль-Муизз и рынок Хан-эль-Халили. Это сердце и душа Старого Каира. Вы пройдёте по извилистым древним улочкам, где торгуют всем, чем только можно.

Нашим гидом в день экскурсии был Мухамед. Гид он чудесный-активный, хорошо знает русский язык. Больше всего нам понравилась прогулка по кварталу, где находятся христианские коптские церкви, а также потряс и удивил город мусорщиков-в такие моменты ты начинаешь ценить то, что тебя окружает в обычной жизни. После ужасов города мусорщиков Мухамед нас привёз в красивый и зелёный Аль-Азхар парк, который раньше был свалкой, а под конец дня мы прогулялись по восточному рынку. Время провели очень насыщенно, познавательно и ярко.

В целом это было неплохо, но только потому, что я включил в программу мечеть Ибн Тулуна, где мы смогли взойти на минарет и благодаря тому, что я настоял пройтись по узким улочкам старого Каира в широкой области улицы Аль-Муизз ли-Дин Аллах аль-Фатими (всем рекомендую без гида, который вас постоянно будет останавливать и ограничивать). Мне не понравилось, что мы только два раза вышли в городе мертвых на 5 минут (один раз возле Гробницы Имама аш-Шафии и один раз заглянули во внутренний двор и через решетку-увидели могилы). Но в местах где строятся мосты были полуразрушенные жилища с могилами внутри дворов, которые можно было посмотреть вблизи - сказали -"нельзя". И только один раз я уговорил выйти в городе мусорщиков - минуты на 3. Дальше мои просьбы остановиться и дать мне возможность пройтись и сделать пару фото остались неуслышанными. Так же нужно знать, что в городе мусорщиков вы проедете только по одной улице, которая ведёт к Монастырю святого Симеона Дубильщика. На улочкам в старом Каире, я хотел зайти в пару подъездов, посмотреть внутри трущобные многоквартирные дома или пройти насквозь дом и выйти с другого входа. Мне не позволили. Сказали - "нельзя". Даже в подъезд заглянуть тоже "нельзя". В общем ничего "нельзя", Можно смотреть только через окно машины и то не долго.
