Описание
Брешиа — город, корнями уходящий в Античность. Он незаслуженно обойдён вниманием, и я постараюсь это исправить. Мой муж из Брешии — так что я знакома с менталитетом местных жителей и знаю тонкости брешианской кухни. Сама долго жила в Брешии, исходила все её уголки и хорошо изучила её историю. На прогулке подробно расскажу о периодах, через которые прошёл город.
Что вас ожидает
Наша экскурсия станет настоящим путешествием во времени.
Римский период
- Мы начнём прогулку у холма Чиднео на Римском форуме, где был политический и торговый центр города. Поговорим об основании Брешии в 49 году до нашей эры.
- В восстановленном Капитолии увидим чудом уцелевшую крылатую бронзовую статую богини Победы (Vittoria Alata) I века н.э.
Владычество лангобардов
- Далее наш путь лежит к монастырю святой Джулии, основанному королём лангобардов Дезидерио
- На территории монастыря есть музей с коллекцией античной скульптуры и керамики, а также величественный крест Дезидерио с 212 драгоценными камнями
Средневековье
- На Соборной площади увидим сразу старый и новый Дуомо (единственный случай в Италии)
- В старом Дуомо полюбуемся фресками и картинами Моретто, Маффея и Романино, прикоснёмся к саркофагу епископа Берардо Маджи
- В новом Дуомо посмотрим на алтарь Папы Римского Павла VI, родившегося в Брешии. Именно его косвенной родственницей я являюсь (и я не шучу).
Период Возрождения
- Пройдём на самую красивую площадь города — площадь Лоджии ( Piazza della Loggia)
- Здесь располагается дворец в стиле венецианского Ренессанса, городской памятник «итальянской львице» — Брешии и башня с астрологическими часами. Я расскажу об итальянской (римской) системе часоисчисления.
Эпоха Муссолини
Завершим экскурсию на площади Виттории — ярком символе монументальных построек эпохи Муссолини.
Организационные детали
На экскурсии мы не будем заходить в музеи. При желании вы сможете самостоятельно посетить музей святой Джулии и археологический парк Капитолия. Стоимость единого билета для взрослых — €15, для посетителей младше 26 лет и старше 65 — €8.

В октябре прошлого года мне посчастливилось побывать в совершенно сказочном, тихом, уютном городе Брешиа. Было дождливо и очень пустынно на улицах, что создало ещё больше таинственности этому историческому городу. Наш очень доброжелательный и отзывчивый гид Инесса провела нас историческими улочками в сердце города, перенесла нас на страницы истрии прошедших веков, показала самые значимые памятники Брешии. Мы узнали много интересного и неожиданного об истории разных периодов Италии, и именно Брешии. Отдельно хочу поблагодарить Инессу, что она помогла нам попасть в церковь, где находятся мощи Святой Мученицы Иулии. Это было чудо, которое завершило наше краткое, но удивительное путешествие в старинный город Брешиа.

Мы побывали на очень интересной и познавательной экскурсии по Брешиа. Город очень интересный, обязательно стоит посетить. И, лучше, не на один день. Инесса - замечательный гид и очень комфортный собеседник. Экскурсию очень рекомендуем!
