Флоренция пережила падение Римской империи, нашествия варварских племён, кровавые войны Средневековья, радикальную перестройку в конце XIX века и даже месть отступавшей гитлеровской армии, когда город чуть было не лишился своего исторического облика и памятников искусства. Я помогу вам распробовать этот «слоёный пирог» итальянской истории и разобраться в море памятников старины.

Что вас ожидает

Флоренция — это город, наполненный легендами, леденящими душу историями, о которых расскажет каждый камень, мостовая и даже мрамор на великолепных фасадах.

Нередко здесь можно встретить здание, история которого начинается с древнеримского фундамента. На нем был возведён дом феодала, впоследствии разрушенный, чтобы стать основой для дворца республиканского правительства. Новых обитателей изгоняет тиран-правитель и перестраивает здание в роскошную герцогскую резиденцию. Она погрузится в забвение на несколько столетий, чтобы вновь стать парламентским дворцом в столице новой объединённой Италии, а в наши дни играть роль мэрии города и музея! Такова судьба Старого дворца, одного из символов Флоренции, и это — лишь малая толика того, что нам предстоит узнать во время трёхчасовой прогулки с полным погружением в историю и архитектуру этого удивительного города.

Во время прогулки вы исследуете:

  • духовный центр города — собор Санта-Мария-дель-Фьоре с колокольней работы Джотто и Баптистерием Сан-Джованни, где крестили Данте;
  • площадь Республики — знаковое место и географический центр города, украшенный статуей Изобилия;
  • монументальные дворцы знати на самой фешенебельной улице Флоренции;
  • старинную площадь Святой Троицы с колонной, привезённой из римских терм;
  • средневековые улочки, о которых Данте рассказывал в «Божественной Комедии»;
  • знаменитую галерею Уффици — центр туристического притяжения. (вы осмотрите здание, конечно же, только снаружи);
  • площадь Синьории и Старый дворец (Палаццо Веккьо) — средоточие политической жизни средневековой Флоренции, арена публичных казней и торжеств;
  • множество колоритных уголков старого города.

Я научу вас разбираться в море памятников старины, вы легко распознаете флорентийский мраморный стиль и отличите тосканскую колонну от, скажем, дорической, что, согласитесь, приятно. Также я дам достаточно интересных сведений, чтобы вы смогли свободно ориентироваться в истории города и всех ее временных слоях.

The very knowledgeable guide, good understanding of the history of Florence (sometimes too much information, but it’s ok). Also she gave us information about museums and restaurants
