Описание

Многим Блэкторн знаком по роману «Сёгун» и его экранизациям, но не все знают о реальном прототипе героя. Мы погрузимся в жизнь мореплавателя: посетим памятные места в городе, где он жил. Поднимемся на вершину вулкана и представим, о чём он думал. Попробуем традиционные блюда той эпохи. И поймём, как выжить в чужой стране — и даже стать самураем.

Что вас ожидает

Дорогами мореплавателя
Мы прогуляемся по улочкам Ито, бывшей рыбацкой деревушки, ставшей домом для моряка. Рассмотрим памятные знаки в мемориальном парке «Анджин». Заглянем в старинный рёкан с экспозицией, посвящённой Блэкторну. Я расскажу, как трудно и страшно было человеку с другого конца земли жить в Японии, преодолевая опасности и непонимание.

Вы узнаете:

  • Кто такой Уильям Адамс и как он очутился на берегах Японии
  • Как мореплаватель не просто сумел выжить в чужой стране, где не любили иностранцев, но и стал очень уважаемым человеком
  • За что Блэкторн получил почётное звание самурая, будучи чужеземцем, и как смог стать советником правителя Японии
  • Почему японцы так полюбили моряка, что даже спустя четыре сотни лет устраивают ежегодный фестиваль в его честь

А ещё я поделюсь историей о том, как Блэкторн научил японцев строить корабли и почему так и не смог вернуться на родину.

Подъём на вершину вулкана
На фуникулёре мы поднимемся на вершину небольшого вулкана, откуда можно увидеть Тихий океан, а в хорошую погоду и Фудзияму. Здесь мы полюбуемся видом и поразмышляем, что ощущал Блэкторн, глядя на те же места: тоску или надежду, смирение с участью или гордость. По желанию заглянем в кафе с открытой верандой, выпьем чай или кофе и сделаем замечательные снимки.

Вниз вернёмся по лесной дорожке: вы насладитесь открывающимися видами, целительным свежим воздухом и увидите огромные скульптуры динозавров.

Гастрономическое путешествие
Совместим историю и гастрономию. После прогулки мы посетим японский ресторан и попробуем традиционные блюда эпохи Эдо, чтобы понять, есть ли жизнь без мяса. И на своём опыте почувствовать, как приспосабливался к необычной еде средневековый европеец.
