Один из самых непредсказуемых мастеров мирового искусства. Караваджо мечтал стать величайшим художником — не потому ли он не раз преступал закон, считая себя выше других? В поисках ответов мы погрузимся в атмосферу Неаполя 17 века: от портовых кабачков до барочных церквей. Ведь личность «мастера света и тени» невозможно представить без контрастов его жизни.

1. Неаполитанское общество 17 века: я расскажу, как жил один из крупнейших в Европе центров искусства, науки и торговли. Обсудим, почему население Неаполя в полной мере олицетворяло концепцию «барокко» — и какое отражение она нашла на полотнах Караваджо.

2. Творчество и жизнь Караваджо. Вы узнаете:

  • почему именно он стал самым выдающимся, скандальным и спорным художником своего времени
  • как Караваджо повлиял на развитие искусства и на культурную среду Неаполя
  • почему методы и образ жизни художника стали объектом споров среди современников

Это был мой последний день в Неаполе, и мне очень приятно увезти с собой воспоминание об этой прекрасной экскурсии. Ася обладает обширными знаниями предмета, которыми она охотно, с увлечением поделилась со мной. Я узнала о местах в Неаполе, связанных с Караваджио, о знаменитых людях, с которыми он встречался, прошла по улицам, где он когда-то ходил, зашла в церкви, которые он посещал, увидела его знаменитую картину «Семь актов милосердия»… Помимо этого, Ася рассказала еще о многих исторических эпизодах, связанных с Неаполем. И все это было не коллекцией сухих фактов, а живым, увлекательным рассказом. Ася обладает прекрасными манерами, она заботилась о моем комфорте, посоветовала, что еще можно посмотреть, а после экскурсии прислала мне рекомендации по документальным и художественным фильмам о Неаполе и Помпее, которые я обязательно посмотрю.
