Описание
Во время прогулки по историческим и архитектурным памятникам Старого города вы познакомитесь с историей постройки города и основными героями этого периода и увидите, как изменился Иерусалим под влиянием Русской империи и Французской республики.
Что вас ожидает
Нет ни одного израильского ребёнка, который бы не побывал здесь. Экскурсия начнётся от Яффских ворот. Мы поднимемся и пройдём по городским стенам, где когда-то стояли воины Османской империи и иорданские легионеры, обойдём христианский и мусульманский кварталы Старого города, увидим Новый город и спустимся у Шхемских ворот.
Посетим раскопки дамасских ворот времён Римской империи и таинственную пещеру Цидкиягу — гигантскую каменоломню под Старым городом. Затем, если будет открыто, отправимся в археологический музей им. Рокфеллера, где выставлены уникальные памятники архитектуры, коллекции золотых монет и украшений. Также посетим Францисканский музей на первой остановке Крестного пути.
Я расскажу вам о древних завоевателях и строителях города от царя Давида и султана Сулеймана до генерала Алленби. Вы услышите, как строили дома в древнем городе и как охраняли стены. Увидите сверху весь Иерусалим и Масличную гору. Узнаете про наследие Англии и Германии на Святой Земле.
