Описание

На этой прогулке вы увидите две главные достопримечательности Нижнего Новгорода — оживлённую Большую Покровскую и древний кремль. На главной городской улице вы оцените её архитектурное разнообразие и узнаете торговые хроники. А за стенами кремля увидите административные здания и храм 17 века. Полюбуетесь панорамой и в итоге составите ясное первое впечатление о Нижнем.

Торговля и архитектура на Большой Покровской

Экскурсия начнётся на главной улице Нижнего Новгорода, которая в 19 веке считалась центром богатства и деловой жизни. Город жил торговлей и недвижимостью: гостиницы, рестораны, театры — всё приносило доход. Можно сказать, весь Нижний тогда был одним большим доходным домом.

Мы с вами зайдём в здание Госбанка (1913 год) — один из красивейших банков России, построенный в неорусском стиле, и «возьмём кредит», чтобы отправиться строить собственный доходный дом.

Вы узнаете:

  • как менялась архитектура Покровки от классицизма до эклектики, а затем до конструктивизма и сталинского ампира
  • где находится самый популярный памятник Нижнего

  • где работает крупнейшая местная барахолка и почему на главной улице города сохранился уникальный средневековый рынок

Нижегородский кремль

Вторая часть экскурсии пройдёт по самому древнему памятнику города, которому более 500 лет. Я расскажу об истории его строительства и превращения в центр власти.

Внутри кремля вы увидите:

  • присутственные места времён Екатерины II
  • дом военного губернатора и арсенал времён Николая I
  • Дом Советов — образец конструктивизма в форме самолёта
  • здание обкома КПСС, символ советской эпохи

Особое внимание уделим собору Архангела Михаила — единственному сохранившемуся храму кремля. У Вечного огня вы полюбуетесь стрелкой Оки и Волги, осмотрите военную технику времён Великой Отечественной войны и узнаете, почему Горький называли кузницей оружия Победы.

В завершение я подскажу, какие музеи можно посетить самостоятельно и где лучше всего подняться на стену кремля, чтобы увидеть город с высоты.

Хорошая экскурсия. Спасибо Регине за обстоятельный и, при этом, не навящивый рассказ о Нижнем. Приятная прогулка по городу с очень интересными комментариями о местах и исторических событиях.
