Описание
Кембридж, наряду с Оксфордом, является элитным учебным заведением Великобритании, расположенным примерно в 80 км. от Лондона. Приглашаю вас познакомиться с городом и старинным университетом — с его историей, особенностями и традициями студенческой жизни.
Что вас ожидает
Среди основных городских достопримечательностей — Романская круглая церковь Святого гроба, позднеготическая капелла Кингс-колледжа, библиотека Тринити-колледжа, музей Фицуильяма, ботанический сад, Дом сената и бесчисленное количество колледжей с великолепной средневековой архитектурой.
Вы также увидите знаменитый хронограф (пожиратель времени), ласково прозванный студентами Розалиндой. Детально рассмотрите мосты на реке Кэм, каждый из которых характерен своей конструкцией, своей историей. Узнаете где еще, помимо Венеции, Оксфорда и Кембриджа, существует мост Вздохов. Узнаете о многих неписаных традициях этого города и о том, как принято здесь называть Оксфордский университет.
Я расскажу о русских деталях этого города и университета, являющихся их неотъемлемой частью, о том, почему же все-таки на улицах города запрещено играть в теннис и почему каждый из выпускников Кембриджа должен быть всенепременно бакалавром искусств. Вы узнаете все о странностях этого замечательного города — во всех деталях, в его неповторимо-трогательной атмосфере.
Организационные детали
- Стоимость экскурсии (£180) указана в случае, если мы поедем на общественном транспорте. В этом случае дополнительно оплачивается стоимость проезда – £18 (автобус, в обе стороны), £30 (поезд, в обе стороны).
- Если мы воспользуемся автомобилем, стоимость экскурсии составит £490 для 1-3 пассажиров и £700 – для 4-6 человек

Экскурсия по Кембриджу с гидом Богданом понравилась. Богдан произвел впечатление эрудированного гида, много знающего не только про историю развития и становления Кембриджа, но и про Британскую систему образования, науку, литературу, образ жизни и т.д. Таким образом, экскурсия получилась весьма содержательной и интересной.

Экскурсия скорее атмосферная, чем информационная: Богдан - чудесный гид, мы получили море удовольствия, но сам Оксфорд «имеет ограничения» по контенту.

Чудесная экскурсия! Спасибо большое Богдану. Несмотря на то, что 4 часа пешей прогулки по брусчатым улицам нас пугали, все прошло на одном дыхании. Познавательно, захватывающе. Теперь Кембридж для нас не просто точка на карте, а целый сборник воспоминаний, ассоциаций и чудесных эмоций. Спасибо.
