Описание

Травемюнде — курорт на Балтийском море, расположенный в 20 км от центра Любека. Во время экскурсии вы познакомитесь с историей города и его жизнью сегодня, почувствуете не только «аристократический дух» курорта, но и сохранившийся шарм уютной деревушки рыбаков.

В начале 12 века на месте впадения реки Траве в Балтийское море возникла маленькая деревушка рыбаков и моряков. В 1187 граф Адольф III Шауэнбургский построил здесь крепость для защиты от нападений славян и викингов. С 19 века начался стремительный рост курортов на Балтике. Травемюнде со своим песчаным пляжем длинной 4,5 км. стал идеальным местом для отдыха. Здесь были построены санаторий, отели, казино, променад, и жизнь закипела.

Каждый день здесь причаливали пароходы из Копенгагена, Риги, Санкт-Петербурга и других городов. Особенно связь с царской Россией была важна для курорта. Оттуда приезжало много богатых русских, с удовольствием тративших свои деньги в Травемюнде. Здесь жил и лечился Н. Гоголь, а И. Тургенев и Ф. Достоевский частенько играли в казино города.

После прогулки можно, конечно, искупаться в море (летом) и пообедать в одном из многочисленных рыбных ресторанов.
