Описание

Многовековая история Спасо-Евфимиева монастыря богата событиями. Вы узнаете, что он пережил за шесть столетий со дня своего основания, сколько тайн и сокровищ в себе таит. Познакомитесь с неповторимой архитектурой, увидите бережно восстановленные фрески. И выясните, правда ли когда-то здесь находились тюрьма и политизолятор.

Что вас ожидает

С одной стороны, это древняя духовная обитель, с другой — уникальный пример реставрации и музеефикации целого монастырского комплекса. А ещё здесь кроется история тюрьмы, долгое время спрятанной за высокой стеной от чужих глаз.

Мы пройдём через арку старых врат, на Соборной площади рассмотрим весь архитектурный ансамбль монастыря. А в Спасо-Преображенском соборе подробно изучим фрески 16 века, которые можно читать как книгу.

Очень рекомендую экскурсию по Спасо-Евфимиеву монастырю с Екатериной. Она отличный рассказчик, хорошо знает историю монастыря, Суздаля и его исторических жителей.
