В этом путешествии вы познакомитесь не только с Угличем, но и с древними сёлами на пути к нему. Дорога из Ярославля станет живой летописью: великие имена, монастыри и города, где каждая постройка — свидетель прошлого. А очутившись в Угличе, вы услышите о людях, оставивших след в истории России, и почувствуете себя частью великой страны.

Что вас ожидает

По пути в Углич
Во время дороги из Ярославля вы узнаете много интересного о местах и знаменитых уроженцах этого края. Мы проедем через село Никульское — родину первой женщины-космонавта Валентины Терешковой. Следом — Большое Село. Здесь родились:

  • Первая русская актриса Прасковья Жемчугова, вдохновившая князя Шереметьева
  • Стратонавт Илья Усыскин, покорявший высоту с риском для жизни
  • Поэт Иван Суриков, чьи строки «Вот моя деревня, вот мой дом родной» знают с детства

Тайны древнего города
В Угличе мы начнём с исторического центра города. Нас ждёт прогулка по территории кремля, где каждый камень дышит прошлым. Вы увидите:

  • Храм царевича Димитрия на крови — и услышите все версии этой трагической и до сих пор спорной истории
  • Палаты Андрея Большого — старейшее гражданское здание на Волге
  • Спасо-Преображенский собор с росписями «русского Рафаэля» — Тимофея Медведева
  • Памятники царевичу Димитрию и князю Андрею, которого опасался сам Иван III.

Монастыри, образы, судьбы
Мы посетим три монастыря, каждый — с уникальной атмосферой:

  • Алексеевский монастырь, где хранится главная святыня Углича — икона Богородицы Вратарницы.
  • Богоявленский монастырь, где провела часть детства поэтесса Ольга Берггольц. На территории — храмы трёх веков, включая собор архитектора Константина Тона
  • Воскресенский монастырь — редкий пример гармонии архитектуры с ландшафтом. Рядом — храм Рождества Иоанна Предтечи, где в 17 веке произошла трагедия, оставившая след в судьбе города.

И ещё немного впечатлений

  • Пройдём по Успенской площади с памятниками гражданской архитектуры 19 века.
  • Полюбуемся видами с Волжской набережной и парка Победы
  • При желании можно заглянуть в музей гидроэнергетики или выбрать любой другой из множества угличских музеев

Огромное спасибо Егору за увлекательную экскурсию по Угличу. С самого начала экскурсовод захватил наше внимание, от рассказа было не оторваться.
