Описание

Много веков евреи жили рядом с белорусами. В стране не было отдельных кварталов с закрытыми общинами как, например, в странах Европы. Иудеи селились рядом с русскими, поляками, татарами, белорусами — это был один большой плавильный котёл. Я покажу места, где сохранилась атмосфера той самой старой столицы, когда полгорода (без преувеличения!) говорило на идиш.

Что вас ожидает

  • Дом с мезузой — пожалуй, самый известное здание Раковского предместья. Ещё совсем недавно на старых резных дверях оставался след от мезузы — футляра, в котором находился свёрнутый свиток пергамента с двумя фрагментами Торы.
  • Синагога Зальцмана — самое старое сохранившееся здание в Раковском предместье.
  • Здание бывшей обойной фабрики Лифшица и Шифмановича с первым в Минске паровым котлом.
  • Здание Талмуд-торы, где мы поговорим в том числе о еврейском начальном образовании.
  • Дом еврейских свадеб, успевший побывать и танцевальным залом, и кинотеатром «Рекорд», и даже местом собрания революционеров! Сейчас в здании кофейня, однако в интерьере сохранились оригинальные росписи на стенах конца 19 — начала 20 веков.

За 2 часа неспешной прогулки я расскажу, каким образом Шоа повлияло на судьбу популярного отеля «Европа», как связан с Минском «папа» Чебурашки и где в 21 веке искать остатки былого наследия, без которого представить Беларусь сегодня просто невозможно. Вы узнаете, почему идиш когда-то стал одним из четырёх государственных языков, но сегодня забыт.

А также мы:

  • Вспомним легенду о двух раввинах, из-за ссоры которых якобы и начались частые наводнения на Свислочи
  • Поговорим о самых известных евреях Раковского предместья — людях, прославивших Беларусь на весь мир
  • Разберёмся, откуда растут ноги у шутки о том, что в Беларуси родилось больше президентов Израиля, чем в самом Израиле
  • Выучим пару слов на идиш и иврите
  • И конечно, обязательно поговорим о том, как и когда евреи появились на землях современной Беларуси

Спасибо! Замечательная, интересная экскурсия прошла на одном дыхании, когда теряешь ощущение времени. Юлиана прекрасный рассказчик. Вместе с ней ты проживаешь историю. Посетить ее экскурсию - это уже причина приехать в Минск!

Отличная экскурсия от Юлианы, которая дала нам возможность глубже погрузиться в мир еврейского быта и традиций, увидеть Раковское предместье с разных ракурсов. Мы охватили и архитектуру, и бизнес, и творчество минских евреев. Было очень здорово и интересно. В следующее путешествие обязательно обратимся к Юлиане за новыми впечатлениями на других маршрутах!

Гид Юлиана прекрасно разбирается в теме и при этом легко выстроила диалог с нами, с участниками экскурсии. Гуляя по Раковскому предместью мы как будто бы вместе воссоздавали историю домов, людей в них живущих, вспоминали ранее известные, но подзабытые факты, открывали новые. Экскурсия прошла на одном дыхании. Мы остались под приятным впечатлением. Спасибо!

Мы были на экскурсии с Юлианой по еврейскому кварталу. Экскурсия о жизни, традициях евреев в Раковском предместье. К сожалению, мы ожидали от этой экскурсии бОльшего, особенно о трагедии евреев в Минске, надеялись, что нам расскажут о гетто, доведут до памятника Яма. Экскурсия продолжалась 1.5 часа вместо заявленных 2, в сторону Ямы нам "махнули рукой". Мне кажется, что гид должен быть более гибким и лучше ориентироваться на интересы туристов.
