День 1. Амарнский период и смешение культур

Телль-эль-Амарна (Ахетатон)

  • Вы побываете в древней столице, которую Эхнатон построил в честь бога Атона
  • Увидите руины города, который просуществовал всего несколько десятилетий, но навсегда изменил историю Египта
  • Посетите гробницы знати и руины Северного и Южного дворцов
  • Услышите об особенностях амарнской архитектуры и о том, почему храмы Атона были открыты солнечному свету
  • Исследуете особенности художественного стиля времён Ахетатона с реалистичными изображениями семьи фараона

Туна-эль-Гебель

  • Мы побываем в некрополе древнего Гермополиса, где сохранились катакомбы с мумиями священных животных — ибисов и бабуинов
  • Посетим прекрасно сохранившуюся гробницу жреца 4 века до н. э., а также римский некрополь с элементами разных культур и эпох

Ночь проведём в отеле в Эль-Минье.

День 2. Среднее царство и христианское наследие

Гробницы Бани Хасан

  • Отправимся к скальному некрополю Среднего царства
  • Увидим гробницы фараонов с яркими росписями и рельефами, которые рассказывают о повседневной жизни, сельском хозяйстве и охоте
  • Поговорим о том, как формировались погребальные традиции эпохи Среднего царства

Монастырь Девы Марии на Горе Птиц (Дейр аль-Адхра)
Вы окажетесь в одном из самых важных христианских центров паломничества в Египте. По преданию, здесь останавливалось Святое Семейство во время бегства в Египет. Вы увидите церковь, построенную в скале, и пещеру, где отдыхала Дева Мария с младенцем Иисусом.
