Описание

Панаджи хранит отблески колонизаторской культуры. Их оттеняет современный гоанский колорит. Мы неспешно исследуем город: пройдём по улочкам с домами 18–19 веков, побываем на большом базаре, прокатимся по набережной до слияния рек Мандови и Зуари и легендарного местечка для свиданий. Вас ждут панорамные виды, любовные предания, мифы и факты минувших эпох.

Что вас ожидает

Крупнейшая река Гоа — Мандови. В начале 16 века в устье вошли португальские корабли, и на берегах разыгралась битва, определившая судьбу этих земель почти на 5 столетий.

В лучах утреннего солнца мы переправимся на пароме к берегам Панаджи и по пути увидим корабли-казино, мирно дрейфующие после ночной жизни.

Португальский Панаджи

Храмы и дома Панаджи копируют архитектуру Португалии. Не удивляйтесь: ещё недавно город был столицей португальской колонии.

Мы посетим:

  • Квартал Фонтейнес с разноцветными виллами
  • Уютные улочки с атмосферой средневекового Лиссабона
  • Центральную улицу 18 июня с популярными магазинчиками — её название происходит от памятной для Индии даты
  • Церковь непорочного зачатия Девы Марии 16 века — сложный декор и ослепительно-белый фасад делают её потрясающей! Здесь же находится второй по величине колокол в Гоа
  • Национальный музей с объектами культурного значения в старейшем здании города — бывшем дворце Адиль-Шаха, а позднее — резиденции португальских вице-королей

Современный Панаджи

Погрузимся в местный колорит, поговорим об истории и культуре гоанцев и выясним, чем они отличаются от других жителей страны.

Увидим:

  • Центральную набережную и пляж Мирамар с красивым видом на северное побережье
  • Пляж Дона-Паула — место слияния двух рек с панорамными видами и укромными местечками для свиданий. Здесь родилась история вечной любви индийских Ромео и Джульетты
  • Храм богини Лакшми, куда приходят просить о финансовом достатке. Внутри также есть алтари Ганеши и Кришны
  • Красочный храм Бога обезьян — он стоит на холме, с которого открывается панорамный вид на город
  • Восточный базар и торговый центр Caculo Mall (по желанию)

Экскурсия «Краски Панаджи» стала одним из самых приятных впечатлений от Гоа. Особенно хочется поблагодарить гида за неспешную и очень атмосферную прогулку по старому Панаджи. Маршрут позволил увидеть город совсем с другой стороны — не как популярный курорт, а как место со своей историей, культурой и неповторимым португальским наследием. Отдельно хочу отметить, что экскурсия проходила в сезон муссонов. Многие туристы напрасно считают это время неподходящим для поездок, но именно в муссон Гоа раскрывается по-особенному. Старые кварталы Панаджи утопают в яркой зелени, краски домов становятся насыщеннее, улицы гораздо спокойнее, а свежий морской воздух делает прогулку особенно комфортной. Небольшой дождь не мешает, а наоборот создаёт удивительную атмосферу и позволяет увидеть настоящий, живой Гоа без толп туристов. Отдельно хотел бы отметить мастерство Елены: она мониторила погоду и даже несмотря на непредсказуемость муссонов, мы ни разу не оказались на улице под проливным дождем. А прогулка под зонтиком напомнила мне Санкт-Петербург.

Были на экскурсии в Панаджи, понравилось очень! Елена - прекрасный гид, рассказывала как про историю Панаджи и ГОА в целом, так и про быт местного населения, слушать было очень интересно и познавательно! Рекомендую всем, кто хочет узнать Индию и ГОА изнутри, да еще и на своем родном языке!
