Описание

Вы удивитесь, как на одной улице Нижнего переплетутся судьбы декабристов и сектантов, истории любви и громкие судебные дела, лекции Крупской, визиты Пушкина и гастрономия прошлых веков — ярмарочная каша на ананасе, уха на шампанском, похмельный суп калья. Рассказ об этих и других изысках компенсирует захватывающую, но не слишком аппетитную историческую часть.

Что вас ожидает

  • Дом купцов Фроловых, где застрелили местного лидера секты хлыстов, которые устраивали радения и свальный грех
  • Длинный дом-коммуна, в котором было всё — прачечные, столовые, солярий и дом Красного креста
  • Дом, где родился идеолог Красного террора Яков Свердлов и его брат Зиновий Пешков — приёмный сын Максима Горького
  • Дом революционера и публициста Николая Добролюбова
  • Дворянское собрание, которое на протяжении 30 лет возглавлял декабрист Иван Анненков — его истории любви с Полиной Гебль посвящён фильм «Звезда пленительного счастья»
  • Окружной суд, а ранее дом губернатора, где гостил Александр Пушкин и в котором судили реальных людей, ставших прообразами литературных героев Максима Горького
  • Здание Госбанка, построенное по подобию белокаменных палат 17 века в 1913 году

Я, как ресторанный критик, не могу оставить вас без рассказов о кулинарных изысках 18–19 веков: пельменях с вишней и медвежатиной, ярмарочной каше на ананасе из печи, игристом вине с пюре из белого персика, абюрикоса и ананаса, похмельном супе калья, каше с копчёной уткой. Более того — покажу места, где эти изыски можно отведать сегодня.

При желании мы зайдём в ресторан, предлагающий блюда 19 века, или в рюмочную в стиле 90-х годов.

Экскурсия очень понравилась. Нас было 7 человек, включая 3-х подростков. Все было увлекательно. Марина провела нас по необычным маршрутам, рассказала историю с фото-сопровождением, посоветовала вкусные места волжской кухни. Был индивидуальный подход с учетом наших интересов. В Нижнем Новгороде мы были впервые и Марина очень гармонично нас познакомила с этим городом.

Понравилось, что экскурсовод подстроилась под изменение начала экскурсии и отработала всю программу без сокращения, интересные детали и факты не из классических экскурсий. Из недочетов - не работал микрофон, большой группой слушать было тяжеловато.

Мы с подругой впервые были в Нижнем и сразу с самолёта попали на экскурсию по Большой Покровской к Марине для скорейшего погружения в ритм города, к тому же наш отель стоял как раз на главной улице и мы были ограничены лишь выходными для осмотра такого большого региона. Марина - интересный рассказчик, отлично знает свой город, последовательно поведала нам историю города и края с его выдающимися личностями, показала иллюстрации ряда исторических событий и мест, провела по Большой Покровской, рассказала об особенностях Нижегородской кухни, дала много полезных советов, что посетить. Поскольку к вечеру похолодало, завела нас погреться на вкуснейший глинтвейн. Мы остались очень довольны, два часа пролетели незаметно.
