Описание
Территория Риджентс-парка была охотничьими угодьями Генриха VIII, и до сих пор она остаётся королевской вотчиной. Вы прогуляетесь по его изысканным садам, узнаете, как появился сам парк, как вокруг него построили роскошные виллы. И услышите истории из жизни их владельцев: Ротшильдов, Йоко Оно, Шейхи Мозы, Дианы Врилэнд, Барбары Хаттон и многих других известных личностей.
Что вас ожидает
- Мы начнём с улицы Олбани и дальше углубимся в Риджентс-парк
- Вы увидите розовый сад королевы Марии, летний театр, многочисленные скульптуры, а также особняки 19 века, построенные архитектором Джоном Нэшем и его последователями
- Мы пройдём мимо домов, в которых жили представители русской императорской семьи, американские магнаты, английское семейство Ротшильдов, редактор журнала Vogue Диана Врилэнд, светская львица Ава Астор и художница Йоко Оно
- Остановимся возле резиденции американского посла, которая принадлежала наследнице колоссального состояния Барбаре Хаттон
- Посмотрим, где жил британский драматург Гарольд Пинтер
- И закончим возле впечатляющего особняка Шейхи Мозы, супруги эмира Катара
