Описание

Узницами этого страшного лагеря для женщин были матери Булата Окуджавы и Майи Плисецкой. И ещё более 18 тысяч женщин, чья единственная вина — фамилия мужа. В мемориальном музее «АЛЖИР» вы увидите, как была организована жизнь в лагере, и познакомитесь с историями узниц. Это место памяти, которое возвращает голос тысячам женщин, которые попали в жернова государственной машины.

Что вас ожидает

  • Розовые вагоны-теплушки — точная копия тех, в которых женщин везли в лагерь неделями: без окон, без объяснений, без надежды
  • Мемориальная арка «Скорбь матери» — символ памяти и боли, установленный на месте лагерной зоны
  • Плиты дипломатических миссий — вы увидите, какие государства выразили сочувствие и поддержали идею памяти об этих событиях
  • Стена памяти — тысячи имён, возвращённых из забвения. Здесь всё ещё находят родных, о которых не было вестей десятилетиями
  • Экспозиция музея — документы, личные вещи, фотографии, реконструированные бараки и камеры
