Описание

Едем в город фонтанов, калиссонов и утреннего розового вина. А ещё графов, художников и живых традиций. Я покажу главные достопримечательности и помогу отличить подлинный Прованс от туристической картинки. Расскажу, как фонтан Ротонда стал символом политических игр Наполеона III, почему дома на южной стороне бульвара Кур-Мирабо в три раза дороже и многое другое.

Бульвар Кур-Мирабо

  • 440-метровый бульвар с платанами и фонтанами 17–18 веков
  • Секрет аристократов: южный (солнечный) тротуар ценился выше — знать избегала тени плебеев на северной стороне
  • Историческое кафе Les Deux Garçons (1790) — место встреч Сезанна и Пикассо

Фонтан Ротонда

  • Три статуи-аллегории: «Правосудие» — смотрит на Дворец правосудия, «Сельское хозяйство» — обращено к полям, «Искусство» — к Старому городу
  • Капсула времени 1860 года под постаментом — её вскроют в 2060 году

Башня с часами — Tour de l’Horloge

  • Башня 15 века с астрономическими часами — они показывают фазы Луны, дни недели и знаки зодиака
  • Секретный механизм: колокол 16 века, отбивающий часы, — один из старейших в Провансе
  • Римские следы: основание башни — часть древнеримских укреплений 2 века

Фонтан Короля Рене — Fontaine du Roi René
