Описание

Кимры — это место на берегу Волги, которое когда-то было одним из самых больших сёл империи. Мы пройдём по историческому центру (Троицкой стороне) и осмотрим деревянные терема и каменные особняки обувных королей. Вы узнаете, как мировые архитектурные тренды начала 20 века адаптировались под нужды местных мастеров и почему Кимры по праву считаются заповедником модерна.

Архитектурные жемчужины
Это дома Лужина, Серепьевых, Потапенко и Рыбкина. Я покажу детали, которые не встречаются больше нигде в России, и расскажу о парадоксальном сочетании материалов на фасадах. Мы увидим интерьеры некоторых из них с сохранившейся лепниной, живописными панно и альфрейными росписями.

История сапожного царства
Вы узнаете, как Кимры стали сапожной столицей и почему местное крестьянство было богаче многих городских сословий. Мы поговорим о знаменитых уроженцах края и разберёмся в тонкостях строительных материалов. Я расскажу, откуда появилось название плитки «кабанчик» и чем так ценна метлахская плитка в отделке провинциальных домов.
