Описание

Почему именно Нижний Новгород 19 века был настоящей чайной монополией? Приглашаем на авторское расследование — не просто экскурсию, а погружение в мир ароматов, афёр и легенд. На пешеходной прогулке вы узнаете город с его самой вкусной стороны. А затем оцените несколько сортов бодрящего напитка на дегустации в уютной чайной.

Что вас ожидает

Наше путешествие во времени начнётся на Большой Покровской. Эта улица до сих пор хранит облик 19 столетия — и многочисленные приметы чайной жизни:

  • роскошные магазины и бойкие бакалейные лавки
  • дорогие рестораны и аристократическое Дворянское собрание
  • великолепные доходные дома купцов-миллионщиков
  • театр и легендарное здание Государственного банка

Мы увидим, как жили чаеторговцы и где они заключали самые крупные сделки. А ещё отыщем ответы на ключевые вопросы:

  • каким невероятным путём — длиной в 11 000 км — чай попадал из Китая в Россию и какие опасности подстерегали караваны
  • почему чайная столица империи находилась не в Москве и не в Петербурге, а здесь, в Нижнем
  • кто такие «чаерезы» и «титестеры», и почему язык последних страховые компании оценивали в миллионы рублей
  • как отличить элитный китайский лист от дешёвой подделки — «копорки»
  • чем отличался чайный стол бурлака, купца, Фёдора Достоевского и последнего русского императора

Дуэль сортов в уютной чайной
Треть нашего времени — около часа — мы посвятим тёплому и уютному финалу. В колоритной русской чайной вас ждёт интерактивная дегустация-дуэль. Вы на практике:

  • научитесь разбираться в основных сортах и видах чая
  • поймёте разницу в ароматах, цветах и вкусах
  • определите, какой напиток достоин звания «императорского», а какой лишь удачно стилизован под старину

Организационные детали

  • Экскурсия подойдёт для взрослых и детей от 5 лет
  • Чайная дегустация (4 вида чая и небольшие угощения) оплачивается отдельно: 300 ₽ за чел.
  • Возможно провести экскурсию для большего количества человек (до 10) за доплату 1000 ₽ с каждого
  • Экскурсию проведу лично я (в редких случаях — другой гид из нашей команды)
